Bob W Bonn Zentrum — Hotel in Bonn

Conveniently and centrally located on the same street that the composer Beethoven was born. For such a centrally located hotel, the spotlessly clean room was surprisingly large. We were delighted to find real delicious coffee (not just coffee pods), and the fact that we had a fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and a microwave made our stay really convenient. To have been given Haribo sweets was a special treat - and a thoughtful idea given that these sweets originated in Bonn. The hotel’s dedication to being environmentally conscious and efficient in no way affected the comfort of our stay - the team were very clear in communicating that if we wanted more towels or needed more toilet paper, they were happy to provide these. When we next visit Bonn, we will be wanting to stay at Bob W Beethoven....

What's not to like? Everything was nice. Most importantly, very clean; a good bed and bed linen, and a nice shower. But also: a nice wooden floor. High-quality fixtures and decorations, real coffee, nice cups and (wine) glasses. and lots of fun/extra details: yoga mats, charger cables, a Polaroid to leave your photo if you dig that, a bag, good and abundant soap, shampoo etc., entrance to a gym, and tips for breakfast (Lighthouse cafe!). The contactless entrance works fine; there is fast and pleasant WhatsApp contact. And I'm sure I am forgetting things.

Room 301 was rather small, fine for me alone and just 3 nights, but if you are two and stay longer, I would opt for a larger room. There is no wardrobe, but they can provide...

I had always been in a constant debate between staying at an Airbnb for its flexibility and a hotel for the committed and attentive service… until Bob W came along and solved everything - simply bringing the best of both world. Bob W Bonn is just one stone away from the main square, which gives you instant access to most places in town. Heaps of cool cafes and restaurants and shops around. Located on a walking street with some restaurants and bars just in front of the building but the apartment is so well soundproofed that you hear no noise or whatsoever!
