We stopped in twice during our weekend visit because we enjoyed it so much. The attention to detail in the aesthetic, customer friendliness, and the crafting of coffee (and hot chocolate) as well as their baked goods. We shared the New York cheesecake with plum preserves and the Lemon Curd Tarte; both were creamy, refined masterpieces of dessert-crafting... I tip my hat to the pastry chefs. The hot chocolate came in DIY form, with frothy steamed milk and quality coco-morsels to drop in. We ordered a side of sahne just because... it was worth the splurge!

It's a busy spot, but we managed to find a table both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The staff was so helpful to get us settled in with our newborn in tow. The crowd also gives this place a great ambience... Conversation sharers, groups of friends, family, lovers.

Suggestions: 1)The breakfast buffet could include more options. Some scrambled eggs with sausages would be nice. 2)Unfortunately, we were almost done with our breakfast, but still nobody came to ask what kind of a drink we want. After 20 minutes we had to ask if please someone could bring us coffee and Oj. 3)Considering the fact, that the products are bio and self made, and the location is an expensive area in braunschweig with high rents, conpare to the service which we received, 18.50 € war a bit expensive. I'd say 15€ would be a fair price.

The place looks nice and is well located, but what a disappointment… Prices are really excessive compared to the limited selection. What shocked me the most: the espresso is charged extra, because the included coffee is filter only. Honestly, never seen that anywhere else!

And to make matters worse, even though I’m not vegan, you still have to pay a surcharge for certain options, even though the place is already 100% vegetarian. What a joke… It really feels like everything is designed to inflate the bill without offering the quality or variety to match.

In the end, the experience is not worth the price. Too bad, because the concept had potential, but I won’t be...
