Buono — Restaurant in Chemnitz

I recently visited Buono in Chemnitz and was thoroughly impressed! The highlight of my visit was their pizza "Bomba Vulcanica"—an absolute culinary delight. The pizza was bursting with rich, vibrant flavors, and the perfect combination of ingredients made every bite a memorable experience. Beyond the exceptional food, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and it reflects in the quality of the food and service. The ambiance of the restaurant was also spot-on cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Whether you're a local or just passing through Chemnitz, I highly recommend stopping by Buono. Their "Bomba Vulcanica" pizza is a must-try (but only if you are a fan of spicy pizza), and the overall experience is nothing short of excellent. I’m already looking forward to...

I visited this restaurant last week and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the service. But the food was good. There were two Indian waitresses who seemed uninterested in helping us with the menu. When we asked questions, they appeared to struggle with both English and German, which made it difficult to communicate or get clear information about the food.

To make things worse, they were more focused on chatting with each other than actually paying attention to the guests. We felt ignored and uncomfortable, especially since there was little effort to provide proper customer service.

It’s unfortunate because the restaurant itself seemed nice, but the lack of professionalism and communication from the service team really impacted our visit. Hopefully, management will address this and provide proper training for better...

Leider eher nicht wieder...obwohl das Essen teils echt gut war und der extra Kinderbereich zum Spielen positiv hervorgehoben werden muss.

Der Service war leider zum Vergessen...eher vergleichbar mit einer Kantinenhilfe. Aber selbst nicht das - leere Teller und Getränke wurden selbst nach dem Bezahlen nicht abgeräumt (siehe Bild). Wir hatten reserviert und vorbestellt, das Essen (Vorpeise) dauerte mit ca. 20 Minuten dafür zu lange. "Buono family day"(bei Reservierung anzugeben) wurden ignoriert obwohl ich beim Bezahlen extra nachgefragt habe, ob das günstigste Hauptgericht exkludiert ist ("ja"). Eine Rechnungsaufstellung erhält man nicht. Ich habe es Zuhause mehrfach nachgerechnet..Ich wurde somit um 11,90€ betrogen.

Vorspeise: Bruschetta hat den Namen leider nicht verdient. Brot weich, Tomaten nicht eingelegt o.ä. - es ist ein einfacher, billiger und geschmackloser Tomatensalat was da drauf liegt, nach Öl und Knoblauch muss man suchen. Beiliegender Salat wertlos. Die Antipasti Platte "Misto della casa" war OK, für 15,90 aber zu wenig Qualität, der mittig verteilte Salat war nicht so gut, teils richtig bitter und etwas leichtes Dressing hat gefehlt.

Aber das hausgemachte Pizzabrot war echt sehr lecker!!

Aperol Spritz war wässrig, sicher mit Mineralwasser gestreckt.

Die Pizzen waren beide sehr gut!!

Die Pasta Arrabiata war gut. Wohl keine hausgemachte Pasta, dafür aber genau richtig al dente.

Das Risotto war gut und ist zu empfehlen.
