Ratsstube - Chemnitz — Restaurant in Chemnitz

How one person can ruin a business. We went here 2 times. First day very late evening and the older waiter, whoms name i sadly dont know, was extremely good. He made it so that we were able to order upto 21u15. Which is extremely late since they close at 22u00. Nevertheless main course and dessert. Big thanks to this waiter for the perfect customer experience. Then the next day, we reserved for a party of 9 people outside. When arriving we had no reserved table outside, nor inside. The younger waiter wanted to put two tables together however an older female waiter, Jackie named i believe, refused. Although the terras outside had only 4 used tables, we were not allowed to sit outside, we were forced to sit inside. The one reserved table outside... had a no show. And while we were having dinner inside, upon going outside for a smoke, i noticed for another party they DID couple 2 tables. I spoke to the older waitress and expressed our grievance of her client unfriendly attitude and unprofessionalism. Besides a sorry which wasnt helpfull anymore, she disappeared for the rest of the service. Would i advise to go here. Mixed feelings. If you see an older male waiter, then absolutely go for it. Great atmosphere ✔️ Good service ✔️ Great food ✔️ (I ate chicken breast fillet with sesame coating, carrot bed and parsley potatoes / friends ate angus stake medium rare (also great) and the others ate stake cubes? Can't remember the name of the dish, with parmesan on top and fried potatoes) Desert ✔️ (two of us ate tiramisu) Overall great, it's in a great place, very cozy and calming due to the surrounding "plant walls". Am Sonntag zu viert hier zum Mittagessen gewesen. Als erstes fiel mir der Rollstuhllift im Eingangsbereich auf. Wir wurden noch hier begrüßt. Der Lift funktionierte einwandfrei. Im Gastraum fiel uns sofort das aufwendige Mobiliar auf. Im Gespräch mit einer ganz netten Kellnerin erfuhr ich von der Geschichte des Gebäudes und auch von der Herkunft des Mobiliars. Es stammte aus dem alten Chemnitzer Ratskeller. Ein großes Lob an das Küchenpersonal und an den Service. Die Ratsstube macht auf mich einen äußerst gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Für Feierlichkeiten stehen drei Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung. Die Speisen bestehen aus "gutbürgerliche" deutsche Küche. Fur mich als Rollifahrer ist es wichtig, dass eine Rollstuhlgerechte Toilette vorhanden ist und das ist hier der Fall. Kurz, es war ein gelungener Aufenthalt mit dem besten Mittagstisch in Chemnitz. Hinzu muss ich nochmals auf das Ambiente und besonders den Service ansprechen. Heute ist es so, was sich Kellner gegenüber den Gästen so herausnehmen, wie sie sich uns behinderten Menschen benehmen... Das spottet jeder Beschreibung. Klar sind das schwarze Schafe, aber diese sollten sich an der Ratsstube eine Scheibe abschneiden. Hier ist ein besonders positives Beispiel einer Restaurantführung wo alles stimmt.
