ROJ Grill — Restaurant in Cochem

We had been looking for a good Doner spot since starting our trip to Germany and we found it in Cochem!!! We got there around noon (right after opening) so had some really fresh cuts from the daily Doner meat. It was a bit warm inside which took some adjusting but the food certainly made up for it. They didn't speak English (not a bad thing, we were the visitors afterall) but were very patient with us and we had looked at and translated the menu beforehand. Pretty good standard late night kebab/doner/shawarma/gyro type street fare (depending on where you're from...). Good sized portions, clean facilities. Apparently the place is loved by the locals for their pizza. They sell beer in the fridge too. Owner doesn't speak English but luckily a fellow diner was able to help me translate my terrible attempts at German. Bring cash. This place, like most places in small towns in Germany...

Have people rating this ever eaten a kebab? Don't get tricked by the 4,7 rating. The meat can barely be given a 2.5/5 and everything have an industrial aftertaste.
