Hempies - veganes Bistro — Restaurant in Cologne

Hempies is a Vegan Bakery and Cafe with Australian standard coffees (delicious, meticulous, and with creme art) and MIND-BLOWING delicious creme-filled croissants! Friendly, smiling staff. Mixed seating arrangements. A little pricey but worth the random visits whenever I visit Köln (Cologne) for Vegan Activism Events with the organisations: Anonymous for the Voiceless AND/OR Neon Black. Go Vegan and then also get involved with Activism to help wake up other Humans to be vegan amd activist also. As more and more Humans begin living by the Vegan Ethical Principle: that Humans should live without exploiting other animals... THEN the planet will have more amazing establishments like HEMPIES everywhere!!...

Incredible vegan food! We were in Cologne for 3 days. Day 1 we visited for lunch, the croissants were amazing and the lavender cappuccino was delicious. Day 2, we went back again, for more food and coffee. Day 3, on our 4 year vegan anniversary, we had take away and sat next to the river. The 'not egg' was a wonderfully emotional treat as I felt I could enjoy the egg flavours without any cruelty. Food is all reasonably priced and the service was brill. Beautiful cosy vegan place, lots of plants and good relaxing music. Very friendly staff! Great selection of drinks, sandwiches displayed looked very tasty, also croissants of different flavours. All vegan! I had the mozzarella tomato and pesto sandwich - even though I live in London I haven't ever come across vegan mozzarella in a sandwich before!! It was delicious.
