Pretty decent for a place in Cologne. Came for brunch and had their rendition of eggs Benedict. It came on top of their home-made bread. The cappuccino was also good. I took a small glance over the menu and noticed a few things: the dinner menu had some nice dishes. The drinks such as cocktails; beers and wines were very competitively priced. Particularly since this restaurant is rather elegant compared to most spots in Cologne. I was surprised to see the drinks were so cheap. For this reason I would come back for evening drinks and maybe dinner. The service seemed in order especially considering it has only been open for a few days
Where they can improve: Firstly, the food arrived warm and became cold before I finished it. Common problem for eggs Benedict and the like. I would suggest having the food arrive quicker and on pre-warmed plates. The cappuccino was also luke warm and I had to drink it fast before it was completely cold. I found that rather odd. Wines: I loved the pricing of the drinks however a bigger selection would probably entice more customers. So I would have a bigger wine selection. I know most places in Germany don’t have big wine menus but I think this would be a great advantage. The dinner menu had a few things I’m interested to try but also could be larger.
Thirdly, I can speak fluent German however I don’t think they have an English menu, so you might struggle to understand your options if you’re from another country.

Read moreyesterday i have ate in this place with my friend. The food is nice, drink is nice everything was perfect until waiter has placed around 10 people to the table just behind us.They said "Ni hao" to us continuously, my friend is from Japan and I am born and raised in Japan. I told them "it is not very nice to assume all the Asians are from China and it is rasist and rude." One of the guy with black hair and black beard said "this is Germany if you are in Germany you should accept our way, and i am rasist so what I still work for HITACHI" and said something in German, i believe it os the insult. The waiter was serving them while we have argument but didn't stop or ask us about anything. I was shocked and my night was ruined. I didn't know that racism is illegal here since i just got here for work assigment 2 months ago.The following day i have called the Police and explained everything what happened. I know it might be too much to expect but i hope someone from the restraunt has asked us if we would like to Police or place them far away from us. Obviously the waiter serving them has seen the what they are...
Read moreI love this place. The interior is cute. Been here few times and the breakfast was delicious. They have this breakfast buffet on every Sundays that feels like a breakfast buffet that you would wake up at a hotel. 😍
Only one thing I don't like is the customer service. When I called to their phone and ask in English, I said "Good morning, I would like to know if your restaurant allow dogs in the indoor dining area?" The lady staff was silent, and then hang up on me. I thought she couldn't hear me so I called again. This time I was silent, she then "hallo? hallo?". Obviously she heard me in the first call but she chose to hang up in such a bad manner. Then my fam called again and speak in German, she finally speaks this time. It was so frustating. Try call to their phone and ask something in English and see if they would hang up on you. (I guess if you don't speak English perhaps you can simply answer "Sorry Kein Englisch" nicely instead of just hanging up like that?😅)
PS: they allow dogs in the...
