Five Guys Burgers and Fries Düsseldorf Flinger Straße — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

I went with some friends to have lunch at 5 guys and it was my first time going there. There was no one standing on the door so I simply went inside with 2 of my friends and a baby to look for a table. The restaurant had many empty tables so we found a big table (we were 7 adults and 3 kids in total) and sat there waiting for the rest of my friends who were exactly 5 mins behind. 2 to 3 mins after we sat a rude guy working there came to me and told me that I would have to order if I wanted to sit there. I tried explaining to him that I was waiting for the rest of the group and they would be coming in less than 5 mins. He was like your not allowed to wait here, you can go wait outside. I tried explaining to him that the rest of us are exactly mins away and that we were going to order all together asa they arrive. Nevertheless he insisted that we wait the 5 mins outside although I had a 2 months old baby with me and it was too hot outside that day. By the time we reached the door of the restaurant the rest of my friends were entering and we all went to the same table again. The whole experience was so rude and it didn't make any sense to me. Customer service was below zero. It seems like they never heard about "customer always comes first"!! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant not because of their food but because of their terrible and...

The customer service from part of some of the employees leaves you with a bitter taste. The employee by the cashier was friendly and quite understanding that I had my (6kg) dog while I order and waited for my food. However, an employee who did not even start his shift, took the cortesy to come and tell me to leave because of the other (2) customers will be disturbed. The worker at the cashier told him it was fine and I only waited for the food, this wasn't satisfactory for him and went to notify the manager. I understand she was doing her job as a manager and following the sanitary rules but honestly, this all happened on a time frame of 5min. 5 minutes that this dear employer could not wait to come to me in the most unpolite way and bring me out. I totallu understand the concerns but not the manners this was managed. Nevertheless, I want to thank the guy at the cashier for his understanding...

if you're drunk, hungry and in the dusseldorfer altstad, this is a perfect place for a burger.

for me the burger, it comes with 2 patty's and the toppings is masking the beef taste. the patty's were not medium but welldone and this doesn't make it juicy... better said more salty. cheese burger for 9.50 is a pretty high price without knowing where the beef comes from. the fries are good but also a bit overpriced.

if you're looking for quality burger, stay away from this place. dusseldorf has many other burger places (mostly outside the altstad) and not the franchise restaurants.
