Momania Concept Store & Café — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

We enjoyed our lunch untill a middle aged woman arrived later who let the waitress to ask us to move to somewhere else, just because she wanted to sit at our table with a man...... WHAT?!!! Are you too excited for the date then forgot your public manners and social moral?! And I couldn't understand how the cafe could even allows it happen. ↓↓↓

Thank you for the message. But it seems that we are not talking about the same thing. There should be some other group of guests you need to talk to, but not us.

You said "there's two Staffs talked to us politely that the table is reserved by the regular guests from 15:00."

But the fact is there's only one staff showed up in front of us from the beginning to the end. When we arrived, she let us to choice the table we like, she also didn't have any conversation about any reservation after 15:00. Obviously it's not necessary for all of us at all.

And We stayed at your cafe from 11:30 to 13:40. (Impossible impact any reservation after 15:00) The woman(who asked us to move away)arrived around 13:15.

Both side have nothing to do with "the 15:00 reservation" as you mentioned.

"15:00 reservation"and "second Staff" you mentioned has nothing connected with us.It looks like there's some other guests else you need to talk...

I quite like it here. I highly recommend their pancake, it's so delicious! I must say that: The environment is very good. I like the decoration style very much. It is especially suitable for sitting outside and drinking coffee in summer. It's a pity that I didn't enjoy it, because when I arrived, there was no room outside. Eine katastrophale Erfahrung - Ich kann Momania NICHT empfehlen! Ich schreibe normalerweise keine Bewertungen, aber nach unserem Besuch im Frühstückscafé momania fühle ich mich gezwungen, meine Erfahrung zu teilen, um andere vor dieser Enttäuschung zu bewahren. Meine Familie und ich hatten einen Tisch 30 Minuten vor unserer Ankunft reserviert, um sicherzustellen, dass wir einen Platz haben. Als wir jedoch im Café ankamen, wurden wir von einer Mitarbeiterin (Chefin?) informiert, dass es einen Fehler gegeben hätte und unser Tisch bereits besetzt sei.

Unglaublich, denn in ihrem Reservierungsbuch war mein Name zusammen mit der Anzahl der Gäste und der Tischnummer klar verzeichnet. Wir hatten sogar zwei Kinder dabei, die durch die unerwartete Situation sichtlich verärgert waren. Es schien, als ob das Café unsere Reservierung schlichtweg ignoriert und unseren Tisch an andere Gäste vergeben hatte.

Abgesehen von der unprofessionellen Handhabung der Reservierung zeigte das Personal wenig Empathie oder Entschuldigung für das entstandene Durcheinander. Uns wurde nicht einmal ein alternativer Sitzplatz oder eine Art von Entschädigung angeboten. Stattdessen wurden wir mit gleichgültigen Schulterzucken und leeren Entschuldigungen abgespeist.

Diese Erfahrung hat unseren Tag komplett ruiniert und die Stimmung unserer Kinder verschlechtert. Ich kann momania auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen, wenn man Wert auf Reservierungen, guten Service und das Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste legt. Es gibt genügend andere Frühstückscafés, die ihren Kunden mit Respekt und Professionalität begegnen. Das Momania gehört definitiv nicht dazu! 1 von 5 Sternen - eine absolute...
