We went with my wife to the "Chefs in town" event-dinner yesterday and it was a disappointment for us. The food was really good but everything else was not. - welcoming: the owner and staff were more occupied with the press and Chefs in town organizers than with the guests. We were standing in front of the restaurant for quite a while as the doorway was full and noone asked us in - seating: we were seated at a table with 6 others. Maybe it is a German/Italian thing, but definetly not how we imagine a romantic dinner - volume: the place was full and it became very quickly very loud - waiting time: this was the worst, for every course we waited at least 30 minutes. We do like slow food, but this was just ridiculous. They had a set menu and prebooking was a must, so no surprises, then why does it have to take 30 minutes to prep a plate??? After more then 3,5 hours into the dinner we decided to leave before dessert was served as we just had enough of it - waiters: there were plenty, still full chaos, when we asked for the bill (before the end of the event) they did not even ask why are we leave early, so did not really care... This was one of the rare occasions when we left without dessert or leaving a tip:( The dinner was quite expensive, and for so much money (300+ eur for the two of us) we expected more...

We visited this place in a big group of friends and booked the table in advance. The terrace is lovely surrounded by cute Oberklassel architecture. After we ordered, the food arrived within 10 min and the dishes were pre-cooked and not very tasty (which was disappointing), the only dish that was cooked from scratch was pizza (which was tasty, btw). I understand why they cook potatoes in advance but fish should be cooked right before serving it to a customer. The service was so-so, maybe because it was Saturday and the place was busy but the waiters ignored us quite often. Overall, I would come back for pizza but not for the main dishes.

I really wanted to love Piazza Saita, but my experience fell short. The service was incredibly slow. We waited a long time to flag down a waiter for both our order and the check. While the food wasn't terrible, it wasn't anything special either. Just average pasta dishes you could find at many other restaurants. If you're looking for a quick and tasty Italian meal, Piazza Saita might be alright. But if you're hoping for attentive service and food that wows, I'd recommend heading elsewhere.

Was das konkret bedeutet, blieb offen.

I put 2 stars only because the food is amazing.I am Italian so I can say it for sure. Here you can eat the real Italian pizza. Beside that, I give 2 stars due to the fact that in 2024, it is not possible that a nice place like this, doesn’t have a real booking system. It works in this way: You send a mail for the reservation and you wait for an answer..for ever😂because I never got an answer. All restaurant in the world allow you to reserve online, STRAIGHT AWAY without waiting for a responde! 1) there is a free table? yes, ok then. or 2) table is not available? ok and so then you go somewhere else..đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž. Here? not ..! you wait forever for an answer to your email and that’s it. Attention to the...
