Burrito — Restaurant in Flensburg

I have to admit, the burrito was way better in the past and I have no reference though, for how a "real" burrito is supposed to be. But leaving out the namesake, the food is still above average and for the price they are offering more than fair. I don't know why people complain about the amount/price anyways. Yes, the burrito is way smaller than some years ago, but it is still a massive amount of food for a regular meal. The turkey is very dry, but everything else tastes great.

The exotic vegan burrito version is my all time favorite fastfood, all the good without the dry turkey.

Be honest, would you rather get a burger at mcdonalds with mystery meat, insane amounts of salt and fat or a tasty, healthier and more filling burrito version for the same price?

Very loud and busy though, I do reccomend takeaway and sit at the harbor to eat. Service is always great, quick...

Eine Institution in Flensburg seit - wie lange eigentlich genau? 30 Jahre..? Bestimmt. Aber nun ist es soweit. Preise rauf, Menge und Qualität runter.

Erinnert sich jemand an das 'Pacino' nebenan? DAS waren Burritos! Besseres Fleisch (Huhn statt dem langweiligsten und gleichzeitig überschätztesten Fleischersatz - Pute...), frischerer Salat, die gleiche (oder sogar bessere..?) Sauce und vor allem: Eine angemessene Größe. Genug, um auch als Kerl satt zu werden, wenn es mal kein Frühstück gab.

Der direkte Preisvergleich ist wohl nicht fair, denn das Pacino ist ja nun schon ein paar Jahre zu. Nichtsdestotrotz - es war ein angemessener Preis. Und genau das ist hier eben nicht mehr der Fall. Um die sieben Euro zahlt man mittlerweile für buchstäblich eine Handvoll Futter.

Und heute rollen sie den Teigfladen fast zweimal rum, knicken oben und unten noch die Enden rein und füllen die verbleibenden zehn, zwölf Zentimeter der engen "Röhre" mit homöopathischen Mengen an totem, geschmacklosem und zunehmend trockenem Truthahn, welkem Grünzeug und gern auch mal schon leicht muffigem Schafskäse.

Die ersten ein, zwei Bissen sind ausschließlich Teig, ebenso wie die letzten und dazwischen wird es nur unwesentlich besser. Ich schmeiße mittlerweile schätzungsweise den halben Fladen weg; trocken Brot kann ich auch zuhause essen.

Geschmacklich ist es dabei gar nicht mal immer schlecht! Man kann bei Salat und Käse ja auch Glück haben, die Pute war schon immer trocken und die Sauce ist eben tatsächlich gut. Aber für dieses Pokerspiel ist der Einsatz von ~7€/Stk. inzwischen einfach deutlich zu hoch.

Wenn die ganze Familie satt werden soll, geht "Einer pro Person" zumindest für die männlichen Familienmitglieder nicht mehr auf. Also vier Personen, sechs Stück - über 40€. Nein danke.
