Food was good but the service was terrible. First time coming and we were not greeted just stared at for several minutes until my partner asked them if we could sit down. Staff members said to sit wherever we wanted but when we were about to sit at an empty table she told us no, not there and told us to sit somewhere else since we’re were only a table of two. Seemed reasonable until we saw other parties of 2 sit at the table the entire time we were there.. Staff member taking our order seemed annoyed and in a rush even though the restaurant was not busy at all. Drinks and food brought at different times so either I had to wait or my partner had to wait for the order to come. My Moroccan monkey drink was listed in the Hot Drinks section of the English menu but it was brought out ice cold. Overall just not a...

Best coffee in Frankfurt, worst service. It’s 3 Sundays that after a morning walk we stop at ANIIS for a coffee a little before 10am. Every single time, they rudely told us to wait outside until it’s 10 sharp (we saw their staff arriving just 5 minutes before opening). And even then, they’re not ready for us: could never pay with card, they don’t help you with where we can find the nearest atm, it takes them ages to bring menus to the other costumers, they are very rude and really don’t know how to handle costumers.

Super tasty coffee! Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get a table for breakfast on a weekend unless you have a reservation. Personally I find this really annoying and also inefficient for them: there are plenty of people coming in the mornings who are constantly rejected because there are tables reserved in 30 minutes time... They should at least change the policy and only allow reservations for some tables but not for all.

The place is quite small and a bit dark, so not the best for studying/reading.
