Bei Frau Nanna — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I was visiting in Frankfurt in July, and was very excited to see a Mediterranean restaurant so close to where I stayed that I could smell the food being prepared. Going there twice didn't disappoint at all. First time I had the chicken burger which was very hard for me to handle (large, saucy, double the chicken amount I'd expected, 2 left hands) but so delicious. The patatas bravas were to die for, so I knew I had to go again just for them. Second time, I tried the tacos and again I was very happy with them. And the patatas of course. Cocktail and applewine were nothing to write home about, but in a restaurant, I don't care about drinks as much as I care about food. And the food is 5*. The staff were very friendly and laid back. My only problem was the sun outside, but being from Greece I'm used to a good heatwave. I definitely am looking forward to visit FR again, and try more...

The service was very polite and efficient and really enjoyed it. Food was good I had 3 different tapas and it would have been enough for two. The Pulpo was gorgeous, seldom eaten such good ok in Barcelona it was better but very close. Very soft and aromatic. The Babaganoush well had nothing to do except it had Aubergine. This is one of my favorite salads in the Middle East when done well and your get a nice smokey Aubergine flavor combined with the Tehina sesame paste.. lovey but this was just Aubergine fried cubes with the something... Not really great. Der Tiramisu war mir zu süß und nicht Kaffegeschmack genug aber das könnte man als persönliche Meinung abtun. Falls ich Mal wider in der Nähe bin werde bestimmt ein...

I tried to make a reservation with the event manager for a group of about 20 people. I almost switched to a different restaurant, because on top of not being accommodating with splitting the check and ordering a la carte, they offered a menu for our group which was more expensive than ordering the same items a la carte. I got better results after going there in person. The staff was very friendly and I was told that for 5pm we have good chances of finding seats coming as a walk in. I'm happy that we did as all the meals looked delicious and were well presented. And my vegetarian platter was great, I loved all the items. The group was happy.
