Worth visiting and re-visiting

Great menu with varied options and elucidative photos, and written in both German and English. Staff is also super friendly, speaking German and understanding English. They saw I was trying to connect to the internet, and offered right away to input the password on my phone (WiFi is quite fast). We opted for the menu which includes starter, degustation dish, and dessert, as we had never tried Ethiopian food. These menus can be shared with up to 4 people (with different portions and prices). Water comes as sparkling per default, so make sure to opt for the non sparkling one if you so desire. Food had great taste, portion was more than enough for both of us. My traveling partner can’t handle spicy food (though I love it), and after we asked the staff if food was spicy, we were kindly brought a spicy and a non spicy doses.. both versions were great it must be said. We came in (3 people) with a voucher for the main dishes, we ordered 4 meals and 2 drinks, everything was ok, then the waitress comes to us and says we need to order 3 drinks, we said the girl doesn't want to order a drink, and it doesn't say so either on the coupon. In the coupons of other restaurants it would say that explicitly if you have to order a drink with the meal. So basically this restaurant had a deal with the company who creates this coupon-book and they decided to change the rules on their own. Anyway we ended up cancelling the whole order and leaving because of 1 drink, and the workers were like, yeah those are the rules of the manager, we can't do anything about it, you either order 3 drinks or...

„ unfreundlich, aggressiv und respektlos“ diese Ausdrücke zeigen mir nochmals, dass Sie sehr unfreundlich sind. Als mein Partner und ich heute bei Ihnen Platz nahmen, habe ich die Kellnerin sofort auf den Schlemmerbock hingewiesen. So wie es auch auf dem Schlemmerblock stand. Auf Ihr Restaurant sind wir nur durch den Schlemmerblock gekommen, weil wir nie zuvor etwas von Ihrem Restaurant gehört hatten. Jedenfalls, auf die höffliche Bitte von meinem Partner, ob die Kellnerin uns denn etwas empfehlen könnte, rief sie uns nur eine Bestellnummer beim Gehen. Auch das konnte man leider keine Beratung nennen, weil wir womöglich mit dem Schlemmerblock bestellen wollten. Sie ist fort und kam dann ca. 2 min später wieder und wollte die Bestellung aufnehmen, wir haben ihr wieder höflich mitgeteilt, dass wir uns noch nicht entschieden haben. Daraufhin sagte sie, dass sie die Getränkebestellung aufnehmen will und mein Partner hat sich dann sogleich eine Cola bestellt. Ich habe ihr gesagt, dass ich kein Getränk haben möchte und mich gleichzeitig bei ihr bedankt. Als aber ihre Kollegin hörte, dass ich nichts zum Trinken bestellen möchte wurde sie sehr aggressiv und sagte mir in einem Befehlston, dass ich mir was zum Trinken bestellen muss, wenn ich schon mit dem Schlemmerblock was essen möchte. Ich wollte nur wissen, warum ich mir was zum Trinken bestellen muss, weil das auch nirgendswo steht. Sie hat weiterhin sehr unhöflich geredet und sagte, was mir überhaupt einfällt ohne Getränk essen zu bestellen, weil Sie ohne Getränke keinen Gewinn machen und dass ich mir lieber den Schlemmerblock besser durchlesen soll und sie war fort. Was bitte war unfreundlich, aggressiv und respektlos von mir?? Dass ich einfach nur kein Getränk bestellen wollte und nachgefragt habe, weshalb ich das muss. Wenn Sie wirklich durch den Schlemmerblock keinen Gewinn machen, sollten Sie da lieber nicht teilnehmen. Übrigens, sind Sie noch auf meine anderen Kommentare eingegangen, da haben wir aber etwas Gemeinsames so wie Sie nur auf die negativen Kommentare über Ihr Restaurant reagieren, reagiere ich nur dann wenn mir etwas nicht gefällt.
