During my recent visit to Little Italy at Frankfurt Airport on 2nd of August mid-day, I encountered a situation that was quite disappointing. My friends and I were looking forward to enjoying a meal, but we felt that the service was lacking. After choosing to sit outside, we waited for nearly 10 minutes for the waiter to approach us, despite the restaurant having only 2 customers. When he finally did come outside, he seemed rushed and took dishes from another table without acknowledging us.
After waiting some more, my friend went inside to place our order, but the waiter responded in a manner that felt dismissive. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to leave, and as we were walking away, the waiter came outside. In our polite conversation, I mentioned it had taken a while, but his response was unexpected and not welcoming in which he said 'Go to your Mcdonald'.
This experience left us feeling quite disappointed, as we hoped for a more positive interaction. I believe that every customer deserves respectful service, regardless of their background. It might be beneficial for the management to ensure that all staff provide a welcoming environment for all guests.
Thank you for considering...
Read moreThis restaurant is a rather good option for a meal. Part of the reason I like it is its location in the pleasant Squaire shopping centre, which seems to get nicer every time I'm there. It used to be geared solely toward travelers, and while that's largely still true, it is developing its own appeal.
The style of food, as the name implies, is unquestionably Italian. They offer some very nice options in that genre. On my visit, I had the Grilled Squid accompanied by potatoes and grilled veggies. I was quite pleased with my choice. The service was good and the prices were not bad. With food and drinks (sparkling water and coffee) and a small tip, I was able to stay at around 30âŹ. I was happy enough with this value given the quality of the fare.
If you are in the Squaire and are looking for a nice meal, I recommend considering this establishment. It's a good place, especially for travelers who need a bite before continuing...
Read moreWith a long layover in Frankfurt, I decided to have lunch at Little Italy and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Here, you can get a true taste of âGerman-styleâ serviceâitâs quite an initiation into local customs! The staff wasnât unfriendly, but they were often sharing jokes among themselves, adding a unique charm to the atmosphere.
As for the food, the minestrone was a bit salty for my taste, but the Bolognese was excellent, rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, with a clean, comfortable setting. Itâs also very reasonably priced, and with the added bonus of Wi-Fi, itâs a convenient spot for travelers. Highly recommended for a laid-back meal with a bit of...
