Thong Thai — Restaurant in Frankfurt

When traveling to Germany, i always end up eating here and taking food with. This is my to-go-to Thai food take away place. There is NOTHING i can fault. Nothing. The food is outstanding. Terrific flavors, authentic dishes, decent portions, place is well kept and clean, staff friendly and nice. Pricing is adequate for the quality of produce. Have tried all ten main dishes with chicken/beef/pork/duck/shrimp and all are sublime. Same goes for the three noodle dishes and their specialties. The balance of all flavors is otherworldly. Sublime food that leaves you satisfied and full. Haven't tried their soups, salads and desserts yet, but cannot imagine that these are less sublime. If you happen to be at Airport Frankfurt am Main and enjoy Thai food, this is the place to go. Can definitely recommend this...

Hi Jyothi Pathak It concerns your complaints, you must first understand what a Thai snack bar and a Thai restaurant are, of course there are better Thai restaurants, but immediately judging that it is bad is wrong, Tong Thai is fusion food, that does not mean 100% Thai food but an adapted meal For the customers, not everyone can eat an original Thai dish, and you also have to understand what you are ordering, tom kha gai or tom yum gung are not the same. Firstly the food here has 0 Thai taste. Nothing close to what a Thai cuisine would taste like. The service is very average. You ask they give. That’s all. I had phad thai. Never have I had such a tasteless,stale phad Thai. I took few bites and even though I paid 8€ I couldn’t gulp down anymore. I ordered for Tom yum soup. Again I’m disappointed as the tomyom has a sweet taste . It’s more like it’s made from condensed milk and not coconut milk. Tom yum is suppose to be tangy and spicy.
