I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this restaurant.
I was dining there, sitting at a different table from my coworker, but we greeted each other. The server noticed we were friends and offered to combine our tables, but we declined, saying it was fine to talk separately. The server knew we were friends.
After my coworker had paid and left, the server came over and told me that my friend had left their wallet behind, handing it to me. I opened the wallet just to check the name, when another staff member suddenly approached and asked me to hand it over, citing their policy. Their tone felt forceful, and I felt as if I was being suspected of wrongdoing, even though I was the friend. I just wanted to confirm the name and that the money was intact, but they insisted very strongly that I not touch it.
Even though the wallet was handed to me by staff, they acted as if I had taken it myself, which was confusing and upsetting. They then took the wallet from me.
I spoke to the manager about the situation. Instead of understanding what happened, the manager repeated, “I’m sorry, but it’s our policy,” and asked me to lower my voice, as if I was causing a scene. I felt upset because of the staff’s behavior, yet I was treated as if I were unreasonable.
I mentioned that the female staff member’s attitude made me feel like I was being treated as a thief. The manager replied, “No one called you a thief.” When I said I would report this to the company, the manager said dismissively, “You can.”
When I asked the staff member to reflect on her behavior, she smiled and said, “I will.” This interaction left me frustrated. The manager continued to treat me as the problem, saying, “It’s our policy, and you are raising your voice,” even though my voice was not loud — it was similar to the manager’s. If needed, the security camera footage can verify this.
When I asked why the staff didn’t apologize, the manager said, “I already did — that’s why I’m here,” but the response felt dismissive and did not address my concerns.
Normally, in a restaurant, each table has a designated server. This situation occurred because a staff member not assigned to our table intervened. No one offered a genuine apology, and the manager did not show any effort to demonstrate sincere remorse.
No one actually called me a thief, but the attitude I experienced made it feel that way. Anyone would feel upset being treated like this. If the staff had simply said, “Don’t worry, we will find the owner and verify the name. This is our policy, thank you for understanding,” I would have trusted them and handed over the wallet. Instead, I was worried about my friend’s wallet because of the staff member’s attitude and did not want to give it to her. I even felt the need to check the money myself for the same reason.
This raises the question: is this the level of service expected at a restaurant? And if the staff did not know we were friends, does that justify a forceful instruction not to touch the wallet when the situation was unclear?
In fact, if the female staff member had just said, “I misunderstood and thought you weren’t friends. I’m really sorry if that upset you,” this issue could have been resolved with just that one sentence. But in the end, there was still no apology.

Read moreI encountered a profoundly unsatisfactory dining experience at this establishment, situated within the airport hotel precincts at approximately 10:45 PM. It was one of the scant available culinary options at that late juncture. Despite assurances that the kitchen remained operational, the ensuing service and culinary quality were profoundly disheartening. Absent a host to welcome or seat patrons, I was compelled to select my own seating.
Subsequently, I ordered a burger. Regrettably, the dish presented was egregiously underprepared—the burger was pallid, tepid in the center, and the accompanying fries lukewarm. Upon addressing my concerns with the server and soliciting dialogue with a manager, my grievance was met with a disconcerting lack of urgency and resolution.
Considering the exorbitant charge of $28 for such substandard fare, I must counsel potential patrons to reassess any intentions of dining here. The flagrant disregard for culinary precision and client satisfaction observed is intolerable. Patrons, especially those wearied by travel, merit a dining experience far surpassing the mediocrity...
Read moreWe are sitting here at the bar waiting for our order to be taken, the bartender Jeorg has passed us by now for over 30 minutes while only helping other customers and checking his phone. We have even made eye contact and he just picks up wine glasses and checks for spots then ingores us. The bartender Jeorg and the lady working tonight clearly do not like me and my friends and will not give us the time of day, the manager is very polite and very busy . While I'm typing this the bartender finally came to take the order and seemed inconvenienced that we wanted to stay at the bar and eat, telling us if we order at the bar and decide to move to a table we would not be able to be served. On top of that, once we get our food we would not be able to move to a table even tho they are at almost 50% capacity. The food is OK, nothing that stands out but definitely better than other options in the airport. But for the price and the service, Burger King might be the place on my next trip. It's unfortunate because it looks like the manager actually cares...
