I visited Meazi Place today with high expectations, but unfortunately, I left quite disappointed. I ordered the "mahberawi" for one person, hoping for a delightful experience, but the quality of the food was far from acceptable.

The meat stew was poorly cooked, lacking the rich flavors and tenderness I anticipated. Additionally, the roast meat was also not prepared properly, resembling more of a rushed effort rather than a carefully crafted dish. Given the subpar quality of the food, I found the prices to be quite unfair.

On a positive note, the service was a redeeming factor. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the water was served promptly. However, great service alone cannot compensate for the lack of quality in the food. I hope the management takes this feedback into account to improve their offerings...

Very unfriendly service that know nothing about customer service, we went there and waited 30 min so anyone could take our Oder, nobody came I kept asking the waiters if we could oder and they all just looked at us arrogantly, I went to the reception in the hopes of making an oder since no one could come to our table nonetheless clean it as it was so dirty, they just looked at us with an altitude so we didn’t feel the need to eat there we left... This is the rule customers come first how is it possible that you ignore customers while they are the ones bringing in business? Your customer service is really bad, hygiene was terrible and not to mention your own employees and the owner ( the lady) have no respect for customers what a shame...

The servers give menu cards with outdated prices and they do not even bother to warn you ahead of time. I myself brought the issue to one of the servers and she said “ that’s my problem not yours” imagine this type of behavior from the servers. Another staff apologized and brought the excuse of that most of his customers know because they eat everyday in her restaurant. The food was not all of that and service was below mediocre. The food was dried . In the platter there was no lentils nor spinach. The server SAID THAT SOMALI WOMEN DONT EAT GREEN NOR LENTILS. This Ethiopia woman was stereotyping all somali women that they don’t eat spinach nor lentils , most...

Delicious food! I’ve had Ethiopian and Eritrean food before, but two of the dishes in the mixed platter (for one) were so full of taste and subtle herb and spice nuances that I don’t really have the words to describe just how good they were. The rest was also delicious, but the yellow lentils and the chicken/beef in white sauce were the highlight. The vibe and atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, and the staff was very helpful - even when I asked them to close the entrance door as another customer was smoking outside and the smoke was coming in to the restaurant. I could barely eat half the dish in my photo - but I really wanted to, because it was so tasty! Absolutely recommend.

Went to Meaza's Place with a foodie friend of mine for my first Eritrean cuisine experience and loved every bit of it. We tried the timtimo and alicha dishes and the host was kind enough to make us a platter of the different dishes on one injera platter. We also got a fresh housemade lemon juice to go with it and the portions were so huge we all had enough to take back for the next day. Be prepared for them to take time for their dishes especially on a busy night. Give a good half an hour before your meals come as the lovely host puts all her love into making the best Eritrean you can get. Guten Appetit!

We had dinner here and we enjoyed it a lot! The food was amazing and when we finished the toppings and had more bread left on the plate, the waiters asked us if we wanted some additional toppings so that we can finish it. Of course, we couldn't say no! I had the two dju dju beers that were offered, banana and pineapple. Imo, banana was the clear winner. The experience of drinking the beer out of a coconut-looking bowl instead of a glass was fun. The personnel was really kind and the vibes in the place we're terrific. Clearly, this is a place where people have a good time!
