We ordered the tom yum soup (without coconut), pad Thai and fried rice. To be honest, it was good, but wasn’t the best Thai food I’ve eaten. I’m Singaporean, and there are many other places in Singapore that can offer better and more flavourful pad Thai and fried rice. My grandma does better fried rice. Felt like the pad Thai lacked “oomph”…Come to Singapore, food is much cheaper and better. But since I’m away from home, i think that this was a good option to fulfil the Asian cravings. The owner was also quite annoyed with us. She kept telling us to write our orders on a piece of paper at the counter, we told her there’s no paper. She did not listen and just kept repeating. She also likes to repeat that she does very good fried rice/ pad thai/ curry/ tom yum soup, and could tell she was not very happy when we chose to not add meat at an extra cost

As someone who travels for a living, I personally like to find local "mom & pop" restaurants. Thai Time was recommended by a coworker and did not disappoint. I ordered the red curry with crispy duck, and it was delicious. The duck was moist with a wonderful crispy coating. Under was a huge variety of vegetables which were fresh and cooked to perfection. Nothing was soggy or overcooked. I have been told that the restaurant can get quite busy. I was there on a Thursday evening and there was a steady stream of people but I did not have to wait. I ordered at the counter and food was brought very quickly to my table. I had a sprudel water from the case and my bill was 18€. I would highly recommend Thai Time.

I’m a sucker for good Thai food and from my experience I can say this is hands down the best Thai place I’ve ever come across in Germany. ❤️ The food is simply delicious! It is nicely cooked with love and hits the senses! 🤤 The red curry and the tom kha soup is to die for. I didn’t find a single bad thing about this place. The ambience is on point, the hospitality is warm and complete, the food is just out of this world! I’d travel from Berlin to Frankfurt to eat here! ❤️🫶 I was in Frankfurt for only one day and I came here to eat twice. 😂 The owner is a sweet lady who serves you food with love and affection. I wish you can grow a franchise in Berlin too. Thank you for the amazing food! 🥗

Thaitime food joint near Frankfurt Central Station. Germany

It was a horrible and difficult experience to do order food at this Thaitime food joint near the Central Station Frankfurt, Germany. It took us a 30 minutes to walk to this restaurant, and the dining room was empty, but the Asian lady owner just stared at us and said nothing. I asked, “How to order food?” She replied “Here, menu,” and handed me piece of dirty, old paper covered with a plastic pouch, printed in German and hand written in English. I barely touched that piece of dirty menu before she raised her voice immediately and asked if I was ready. I ordered pad Thai with chicken for my wife. Then I ordered Tom yum soup for myself. She asked what meat, and I replied pork. “Meat here.”She point to a piece of menu paper I asked again for pork. “Do you understand? Meat here,” and she points to a piece of the menu again. I repeat: Tom Yum with pork. “Do you read a word pork here?” I realized there was no pork on the menu. So you don't have pork, I asked for shrimp then. She shook her head and slam a pen "wham" on top of the counter. When the food came out, I calmly and politely asked her why she had a hot temper when I was ordering, is there any kind of reason for not selling pork?and why you didn't inform me you don't selling pork meat on the first hand? She replied that she doesn’t sell pork but I keep asking her for pork, that why I am angry. So why you didn't tell me rather than raised your voice and told me to read here, read here, read there do you see pork?? She said she was upset that a homeless guy came in asking for free food, you know not thing free here. I married a German man, I’ve lived here for years, and a waitresses don’t make good money, so they don't wait for you if you are not ready, they want go to next table...so on and so on... During the time we there, some local couple with young child come in, she so calmly, smiling take time to greet them but no hurry and push them for the ordering. It makes my wife and I feel that she mistreat us, she might be a racist or she forgot she was an Asian like two of us too! She reacts with a smile, welcome a party of 4 adults and 2 child walk in, she speaks in German rather than temper speak in English to me! My Euro cost less than the others? We travel over the world, stop at Frankfurt a few nites, but Thaitime was a bad one that we endured on our travel path. Restaurants need customers but customs no need...

Went there yesterday for a bite to eat, Hotel was literally 30 seconds away, and I saw the reviews and thought, why not? It's better than having fast food all the time.

Small restaurant, with rock bands on the radio and 80's and 90's rock and metal bands on posters.

Had the curry pad thai with chicken and a bottle of coke, a little wait because the dishes are cooked fresh, nice and steady, but seeing them go to other people. Looks brilliant.

Got mine, a massive plate of food, and tasted brilliant. I had to add a bit of spice to it with the chilli's provided. A Very nice way to end my last full day in Frankfurt.

Good with the locals, Team attentive, and you can have a bit of banter with them. Very cheap also, Cost me less than £10 (i think it was €12.50) for a full stomach...
