Tired from the long flight, unfound this cafe at Terminal 2. I was hungry as so I ordered pasta and, by surprise as I don't usually drink it, hot chocolate. I was given pasta that seemed old. It was crunchy and dry in places - like when you try to eat reheated pasta from the day before. I complained and returned the meal as the last thing I needed was to eat an old meal. The waiter apologized as well as he let me know that this is certainly the way they do it... Way to go, waiter. Apparently, as an apology he brought me another cup of hot chocolate which I didn't order and didn't want to drink. He said he needed to bring it. I had some sips as I felt bad for not drinking any since he brought it - big mistake on my part. The when I received the check I got the check with also 11 Euro pasta that I hardly touch. When I complained saying I wouldn't pay for what I didn't get he assured me that "this is how we cook it here at the airport". I was very tired and didn't have the strength to say more.
Do I recommend to have a drink or meal there? I certainly don't. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with some respect as their customer. And please, if you happen to go there, don't do the same mistake just because...
Read moreWARNING! Do not eat here if you care about your health! I was on a business trip and while at the airport, we decided to get something to eat. There weren't many restaurants, so we ordered cheeseburgers from here. We waited 30 minutes for the burgers, and when I asked where they were, I was told they had been sitting next to the cashier for almost 30 minutes. They blamed us for not hearing them call out that the burgers were ready, even though we were sitting only 2 meters away from the cashier.
But that’s nothing compared to what happened next! My friend and I ate the same burger, and the next day we were both out of commission for the entire day (vomiting etc., which started early the next morning). We clearly got food poisoning from that burger. Funny since, before I started eating, I initially thought, "Should I really eat this?" since it looked questionable. (Bad burger)
All in all, we got terrible service and food poisoning from this place, and we both had to take the next day off. Who will pay for that? An airport restaurant should take extra care with hygiene and the ingredients they use since the customers are travelers. Luckily, my flight was an EU internal one and not a longer trip.
I repeat, do...
Read moreThe gorgonzola gnocchi had absolutely no gorgonzola in it. It barely had cream - it was water and some flour at best. Undersalted. The table next to us ordered the same dish and started eating breadsticks (for which you get charged 1€ per pack btw) instead, left with less than half of the plate eaten. The truffle pasta had some truffle smell, but jot flavour. But that's more than acceptable and expected for an airport restaurant, however part of the dish, and only in one specific corner, it was so oversalted that it was barely edible. Other than that the truffle pasta was the best dish overall... Pizza carprese was just bad, no reason other than the dough being neither crispy not juicy or fresh. Worse than oven pizza, but if you dip it in the provided olive oil (for which, surprisingly, you don't get charged by the ml) still acceptable. Generally, don't get food here. Staff was very nice and the view is cool too, but god the food was...
