Homely and calm - Moschmosch decoration style took a traditional twist to the modern blend of Japanese domesticated sit in restaurant.
Service was very friendly and calm with customers but staff turnover on waiting staff seemed to be problematic as customers were left waiting for orders for approximately 10 - 12 mins. Bartenders were very pleasant and quick on the pulse. Shop clerks near the bar were welcoming and pleasure to meet before my flight.
Food were served in beautiful platters and ceramic bowls which scream authentic homely and heartwarming inviting to eat. Prices were very reasonable for the restaurant. Chicken gyoza had a savoury chewy interior suclent mouthful feel with a crispy bottom. The Chicken Rāmen was loaded with grated carrots which gave a crunch. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the Rāmen as it was pretty bland and the choice of vegetables did not compliment flavour but seemed to act as a filler. On arrival, broth was slightly cold and slight tasteless. Sliced Egg was not present in the rāmen as per display outside the restaurant from the images. Baby spinach was good but rāmen leaned towards a watery salad than what it was meant to be - heart warming dish .
I see this restaurant can improve in the future...
Read moreAtmosphere is good, but bad service to Asian people. Service is rushed and impolite. Wait for long time for the food and at the end they bang the food in front of me. It's comparable with the Europe customer who sitting beside me, with very short waiting time and great greeting politely with smile from the waitress. Food taste is horrible, this is the worst Japanese food I had in my life, only the shrimp is edible. When making payment, nobody entertain me. I have to go to the counter in front to make the payment. Before the customer in front me has settle with his payment, the way the waitress calls me is just waving a receipt without any face expression. This will be the last time I had my meal here. At the end I still have to search for another food...
Read moreMy wife and i sat down for a quick bite before boarding. The waiter took my wife's order and left without taking my order. Repeared request to place my order did not go anywhere. My wife ordered a seafood ramen, but it vame out with hot chilli pepper. When questioned, the waiter reponded that "it is not spicy!" But red chilli peppers are clearly visible. And the menu did not indicate the ramen is spicy. The replacement ramen is miso ramen, definitely did not see that coming. The vegetables in the ramen are totally uncooked.
Definitely not recommended. The waiter seems to have an attitude...
