And I’m back! Took a week off to eat healthy at home… But I’m back in full force and what a way to come back online. Let’s start with the kids penne: perfect bolognese and perfectly aldente just like pasta should be. Daughter gobbled it up like there was no tomorrow. Then comes the stuffed gnocchis were fresh. My oldest was absolutely in awe of it. She didn’t say a word while she showed down. The pizza was amazing per the wife’s opinion and of course I believe her, but she eats vegetarian so it’s kind of a personal thing she had. From the piece I had, I enjoyed it since of course I had to try it for myself. The gnocchi carbonara was super fresh and my sister who is currently visiting was delighted with it. The comes my dish: the pastrami sandwich with coleslaw….. Holy mother of all that is delicious. I’ve had pastrami sandwiches in the four corners of the world, but this one….. I can’t even describe it. Perfect balance of pastrami, cheese, bread, crustiness. The coleslaw. crunchy, fresh, and simply delicious. But, that sandwich. Give me a second and I’ll tell you about the pancakes and tiramisu. Well they both on point! Pancakes are so soft and fluffy and perfect. The tiramisu is second best to only the one in Porte Venere. You want a place to eat in Germany, well now you have one! Can’t believe this place is right next to the airport. There isn’t anything bad that can be said! Come on your way out of Germany, come on a layer over. Come whenever you want. It’s open 7 days a week and you won’t have anything close to it anywhere near here!

Strong recommendation !! We will visit again. Delicious and yummy Pizza. A very nicely decorated restaurant with a cool ambience. Really really helpful, cheerful and polite people at the service. Food recommendations are available if you have no idea about your food. They have a great menu to choose from. Unfortunately our experience with pasta and another main course was not good. Everything was fine but it just did not match our taste. They did take the food back; which made us sad. But they were really nice to have served us their big size pizza, which was really delicious. I was amazed at the hospitality and we have decided to visit here again. This time we will try the Pizza for sure.

The overall experience was satisfactory, especially since there are not many options out here, but I feel like this place could be so much better. First off, the service was good. Friendly staff, quick response to any requests, and I was immediately approached to be seated after entering. The only improvement they could work on is having staff ask people having a meal if everything is okay. The food was honestly quite disappointing. Maybe I got unlucky, but I felt like the subpar experience continued through almost every dish. As I hadn’t eaten all day, I ordered spaghetti pomodoro from the “create your own pasta” section - very creative, I know… - and was surprised to have received it in around 5 minutes. The presentation was a bit lacking as well, only one leaf of basil on the dish and that was it. After tasting, it wasn’t great either - the pasta was sadly overcooked and slightly mushy. It was also lacking seasoning, like salt or oregano, making it taste very bland. This is something that could’ve probably been improved quite easily by the presence of salt and pepper on the tables - if there had been any. Sadly that was missing… something I have seen very rarely in any restaurant. In their place there was a sugar dispenser, which wasn’t even consistently available on every table. After I had finished the pasta, I ordered their special “pizza sticks” - basically bread sticks modeled after pizza rolls with different fillings - with cheese and rosemary oil. The disappointment continued with this. The sticks were very dry and the rosemary oil didn’t help too much, as there wasn’t that much of it. Furthermore, it tasted like regular olive oil and I couldn’t make out any rosemary notes. The cheese was a good choice tho, it proved to be quite tasty. Sadly the quantity could be improved upon as the cheese was way more enjoyable than just dry pizza dough, but the latter constituted the majority of the dish. After having these two dishes disappoint me so thoroughly, I was hesitant to order a dessert at first, but I am glad I chose to do so. I had the tiramisu, which was honestly very good. I think the cookie garnish could be removed but that’s just a minor thing. Definitely enjoyed the dessert and thus had at least that good note to go out on. Whilst speaking about positives, the drinks were good as well. I had a Hugo rose and a ginger lemonade and I enjoyed both of those very much, no complaints there. The design and overall concept of the interior was also very pretty, inviting, and warm - very nice in general. If you’re in the area and need some quick food or good drinks, you probably can’t go wrong here. Alas, it really needs a lot of improvement and I hope they can work on that. I hope this feedback can help make the restaurant better :)

🚿 Sobering experience. When staying at the various airport hotels, I noticed how full the Italian always is. Curious, I tried it myself - a sobering experience. 🤔 Atmosphere: Reminds me of Vapiano. Mass catering with pop music (not necessarily a bad thing and makes sense in this location since most guests come from the airport hotels during their transits). Nothing special. 🍕 🍝 Food: Also, nothing special. Had a sobering Bruschetta and an even more sobering pasta dish with Bufalo Mozarella. It had three half-cut mini tomatoes inside and otherwise was just covered in what tasted like a cheap cheese sauce (and not Bufalo Mozarella). Another gentleman next to me ordered pizza, which actually looked very yummy. Maybe I simply ordered the wrong dishes? 👩🏽💼👨💼Service: Friendly and fast 💪👌 💵 Prices: Fair but since it does not taste nice, the value for money is not convincing. FAZIT: Two stars 🌟 🌟 - not terrible, but I will not come again.

I recently visited this restaurant and have mixed feelings about the experience. The ambience is great, and the design of the place is okay. However, the service was not up to par, though I understand it was busy at the time. The major disappointment was the food. We ordered an avocado salad, but it was awful. There was no avocado as expected; instead, it looked like guacamole and was drenched in dressing, making it soggy. It was so bad that we refused to pay for it. We also ordered a pizza, which was mostly bread. While it tasted fine, it didn't taste that good either. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you have other dining options available. The food quality needs significant improvement to match the otherwise pleasant setting.

We visited the Italian Frankfurt today and ordered the mushroom & chicken risotto and a club sandwich with tuna. The Risotto was ok, generous amount of meat and mushrooms but for my taste it was cooked a little bit too long, it was a bit dry. The sandwich was nicely prepared but the tuna was too dry as well and it didn‘t have enough spices, so it tasted a bit boring. I think for this price the quality of food should be more exciting. The Pizzas at our neighbours table looked good though. Service was friendly but slow, I wanted a coffee in the end but as nobody came for more than 30 minutes (I tried to make contact) I gave up and then waited a bit longer just to pay.
