This is one of those places that not only I will never go to, but I will ask people I know not to as well. This restaurant is wanna be fine dining. The only thing that is fine dining there is the prices. The food is very inconsistent. We ordered Khinkali and they were cold and were clearly made a while ago and were not fresh. The service was disappointing as well. We had to ask 3 different people 4 times to get some bread and when we did get it, our food was already cold. When we first walked in, we stood there for like 10 minutes waiting for someone to notice us. Fine dining, right? Reading through other reviews, it is clear to me that the owner of this place is a very arrogant and unaccountable person. Instead of being humble and accepting constructive criticism, she is ready to attack customers like an angry hound. Advice to the management: If you like getting positive reviews, you would be open to criticism as well. Telling people to go to KFC instead and cursing at them is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. You are not in your Georgian village anymore honey, you are in Germany, so please act accordingly. That being said, next time I would rather go to KFC because at least they have consistency that you don't have haha.
Update: Pretty much what I said above. The owner is absolutely unprofessional and arrogant person, that doesn't understand what customer service is as you can see from her reply. So people, see for yourself, read the comments and decide who you are feeding your money to.
To the owner: You are talking about education... Well you might have "education" (which I highly doubt) but you have no class. Maybe you should work on that part of your personality next. Yes, maybe you are born in the capital of Georgia, but trust me, I have been to Tbilisi, and there, the food you serve wouldn't be even given to dogs, let alone to customers...
Read moreI am writing to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant, which I believe warrants serious attention. My girlfriend and I visited this past weekend to celebrate her birthday, having made a reservation a month in advance that was confirmed by the establishment. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who was extremely rude and unhelpful. She appeared highly stressed and behaved unprofessionally, even bumping into a customer without offering an apology. When we informed her of our reservation, she did not bother to check the name and curtly directed us to sit outside. We were unprepared for outdoor seating, having specifically chosen this restaurant for its pleasant interior ambiance to celebrate a special occasion. Despite numerous available tables inside, the staff member insisted that we sit outside on old furniture in the chilly weather. After reiterating our reservation and expressing our discomfort with the outdoor seating, we were met with the same unaccommodating response. Ultimately, we felt compelled to leave due to the lack of hospitality and disregard for our reservation. This experience highlighted a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy at this restaurant. I strongly advise against visiting or supporting this establishment.
Ps. Answering to the owners reply: This happened on a Saturday when the weather wasn’t near 28 degrees. Very unprofessional response. No threats were made, no police was called, and no voice was raised. The interaction between the waitress lasted at most 1 minute and we left disappointed. We are no people that behave like these allegations. And the restaurant owner appears to be.
And also next time delete the notes that you internally sent about replying to reviews at the end of...
Read moreTo start with the positives: the food was good, lovely bread and the aubergine starter was particularly delicious. It is somewhat pricey, but for the quality food you receive I think it is fair. The chefs obviously know what they are doing, and put a lot of care into these dishes.
Now for the unfortunate negative: the service was poor, and took the experience down from 4 stars to 2.
We arrived and were standing in the middle of the restaurant for 10 minutes trying to catch someone's attention so we could be seated at the table we reserved. It seemed like they were understaffed for the number of patrons in the restaurant, as we were completely ignored upon arrival, to the point where other customers were looking at us wondering what we were doing there.
After being seated I took our coats to the hangers, as we were not instructed where to put them or offered assistance with that. Then the struggle came to order our food, which took another 20 minutes.
40 minutes after our arrival we were eventually served our wine and water, the wine glass was dirty and smelled like an old cloth.
After an hour of sitting at the table our food arrived, and it was very good quality. But unfortunately the frustration of being ignored and waiting long periods without any explanation, all while being very hungry, really made this experience a disappointing one. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night, because if they improved the service this would have been very enjoyable.
If you don't mind waiting a long time for everything, you will at the very least eventually be served...
