My partner and I visited Green Thai on a recent business trip. We love Thai food so we searched online and went straight to Green Thai based on its reviews. The taxi each way was €48 for us to get to it from out hotel so we were looking forward to a nice evening together.
We didn't have a nice experience here and such a shame that all it took was a bad cocktails and staff refused to do anything to help. We ordered 2 x Mojitos while waiting for our food and they were undrinkable! They tasted like a margarita with mint! From being in the industry I know what had happened. The bartender used sour mix (lemon/lime premade juice) to make the Mojito and not only that he/she filled the glass half way up with the stuff! They were honestly the 2 worst drinks I have had.
My partner hates confrontation but I couldn't let it go that we were paying nearly €20 for drinks that were undrinkable. I called the waiter over explained situation and she got another waiter to come over and then asked me what's the problem too much alcohol? I said no too much sour too much lemon lime juice. And then another waiter came over and asked what's the problem. We now had 4 waiters not solving the problem and making us uncomfortable. I had to give in so not to upset my partner further which would have been very visible to the staff! I said can you please add soda water to the mojito and may I have a beer as well just to difuse the situation. She came back with my mojito filled with soda water. There was no saving it so I slid it to the side and waited for my beer. The food arrived and my beer was forgotten about. Excuse my pun but he evening was soured! We couldn't enjoy the meal. My partner was upset I was upset it was so disappointing that 4 staff members couldn't solve the most basic of problems someone could have solved for such a small cost as well. Truly unbelievable! I signaled for the bill and the girl that filled the mojito with soda water asked was everything ok while looking at 2 full warm cocktails left on the side of the table that were not touched she wanted to know was it ok.... at the risk of embarrassing and upsetting my partner more I took out my card and payed for the meal including the 2 undrinkable cocktails! The only positive was that at least I wasn't charged for the beer they never brought me.!
I have thought long and hard about leaving this review but you honestly upset us so much that I want you to know how your staff handle situations and the extremely poorly made cocktails...

Sehr Schade! Geschmacklich nicht so toll getroffen! Habe jetzt schon mehrmals bestellt, um alles auszuprobieren, da es so schmackhaft suggeriert wurde, aber leider nur soo aussieht, aber nicht in Wirklichkeit so gut ist !? Z. B. Tamarinden Soße mit Gemüse und Hühnerfleisch. 👎 gebratene Eiernudeln mit Gemüse und Hühnerfleisch. 👎 das im Wok gebratene hat nur noch nach altem Frittierfett geschmeckt.
Sauberkeit, Hygiene und Qualität sind das wichtigste in einem Restaurant!
Bei an 5 verschiedenen Tagen, jeweils 2-3 Bestellungen schon überhaupt nicht gut geschmeckt, und nicht gut gekocht ! Und ich habe schon viel ausprobiert, in vielen Restaurants asiatisch gegessen! Viel Erfahrung gesammelt, aber das hier hat nicht geschmeckt! Nur nach salziger Soße, leider!
Bei einigen Gerichten, ist das Essen sehr, also zu stark gesalzen gewesen!
Es ist kaum ein anderer Geschmack wahrnehmbar, außer der salzigen Soße. Kein Genuss! Sieht man an den Beispiel Fotos!
Man schmeckt überhaupt kein Gemüse heraus, wie es bei gesunden Gerichten eigentlich so sein sollte!
Man schmeckt nur einen, zum Beispiel salzigen würzigen Malz Geschmack heraus, oder so ähnlich, wie stark gewürzten Maggi / Soja- Soßen- Salz Geschmack. Aber keine Frische vom Gemüse oder Fleisch ist spürbar, oder kein anderer frischer guter Geschmack vom Gericht ist wahrnehmbar!

Mit Gemüse und Hühnerfleisch, hat das überhaupt Nichts mehr zu tun! Auch bei den Eiernudeln mit Gemüse!
Nur ein malziger, salziger, Soja -Soßen Geschmack, das war alles was vom Gericht herauszuschmecken ist!
Ich konnte es nicht zu Ende essen, leider.
Und vom Gemüse war gerade Mal mittelmäßig genug in der Portion drinnen, obwohl ich für „Extra Gemüse“ noch einmal zusätzlich 2,50€ darauf bezahlt habe?!
Völlig umsonst, da man sowieso überhaupt nichts, als einen salzigen Geschmack heraus geschmeckt hat, leider!
Das bisschen Hühnerfleisch war auch umsonst drinnen, da nichts identifizierbar im Geschmack!
Und das alles zu einem stattlichen Preis für ein Gericht zum mitnehmen von 12.40 €! Plus 1.50 € für Extra Reis 🍚, weil das Reis in der normalen Portion einfach zu wenig ist.
Hierfür als Beweis ein paar Fotos von den Gerichten, welche nicht so toll schmecken!?
Dass sich die angeblich guten Restaurants nach den 4 Sternen Bewertungen , sich auf ihren Lorbeeren auszuruhen scheinen, ist sehr schade und schlecht für das jeweilige Restaurant ! Denn nach den guten Bewertungen verlieren fast alle Restaurants an Qualität! Und werden immer wieder weiter schlecht !
