Airport is pretty quite this morning at 5:30 am on Oct 13th, not many passengers around Anton and Anni, My husband and I sit next to the Anton and Anni, we witnessed horrible incident just now, the American young lady just simply walked over said Good Morning and how are you doing to the female employee at Anton and Anni who is wearing the glasses at counter, I saw the American lady is checking out the menu only, seems like she knew the counter is still closed.The female staff at counter used hostile tone immediately said to the American lady this is Germany you should speak German and she doesn't speak English, the counter is not open now. Later on the staff started gossiped with one of the airport employee, and served a cup of coffee as well. We are wondering if the counter is not open why she served local people first? It is early morning for God sake, why employee at Anton and Anni already got so Angry without reasons? If she does not like her job, don't provide poor services to customers, spent 20 mins gossiped with airport service guy, discriminated to foreign customers, at this very moment she is complaining to the cleaning woman about her boss and cook, can't she focus on her work??? Wow, she is horrible, my husband and I can speak and understood German, we are impressed by her attitude, what an employee the Anton...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience here. I waited at my table for nearly an hour, but no one came to take my order, somehow I was deliberately being skipped. The only time a waitress approached my table was to mistakenly bring me food that belongs to another table. When I asked her if I should go to the counter to place my order since I had been waiting so long, she told me to stay seated waiting for another waiter. However, no one ever came.
I did try to get the waiter's attention, he gestured for me to "wait a moment," but instead went on to assist other tables around me, including those who arrived 30 minutes after me. He kept returning for tables next to me while avoiding any eye contact with me as much as possible. The first waitress acted the same way, despite my efforts to call for assistance.
I genuinely don’t understand what I did to deserve this kind of treatment. I simply came in, sat down, and waited like any other guest. Tables after tables came later than me, sitting beside me. They were all well taken care of and finished their meal then left when I was still being kept waiting and waiting, cant even place...
Read moreSadly the rudest service of my entire Germany trip happened here as my last interaction in the country. When our flight was delayed a few hours, our airline gave us a voucher that we could use at most of the cafes at the airport. Bring in the Z terminal, this was the closest one where I thought I would get some baked goods and sandwiches for breakfast! The way that I was treated was kind of appalling. I ordered 3 of the sandwiches and a pretzel, and when I asked if I could get the sandwich warmed up (because the other cashier literally asked his customer and warmed up the guys sandwich right in front of me), the cashier responded with a blatant “no.” Me: but it looks like you guys do warm up the sandwiches, I just saw him do it?? Cashier: you’re using a voucher so no. Me: seriously? Cashier: yes seriously. Me: can I pay for you to warm it up? Cashier suddenly cant understand me..
2 stars cuz the sandwiches were still surprisingly good for being cold. But making me feel like I am asking for free food when the airline is actually paying them...
