I donât know what to say, thereâs no words to express my bad experience. The dumplings are raw, the noodles are tasteless, the service is horrific. You can never ever find a place worse than this.
We came to this bistro by a reference, we decided to come and have a try. The place is good to find, but as we enter the place at dinner time 6pm we were surprised this place is empty.
The starter, dumplings, the dough is way more than thick, it is so thick that itâs is still doughy after two times cooking by the chef. (He steamed the dumpling at first, and I told him it is raw and we donât want it any more, but he boiled it and brought it back to us! What a joke for STEAMED dumplings! I wonât even give it to my cat!)
Noodle, their signature dish. The soup is the key for every noodle, but the signature dish? Tastes like boiled tap water, plain, tasteless, noodle itself is okay, but for me it is like store bought. If this is their signature dish, I could then understand why the dumpling was so bad.
The service. Only two staffs there, the owner chef, and his child as servants. The child obviously doesnât understand what I told him to, and not communicative at all, but okay. The chef himself, he doesnât care what their customers think. After the first time i told him the dumpling was raw, and we donât want it, he boiled it again and brought it back to us, but even after second cook, it is still raw, so I talked to him again and he said:â this is not normal, normally we donât cook like this.â and I told him I donât want it, please donât bring it back again, and he says:âYOU HAVE TO PAY!!!!!â he seems like to threaten us for paying his cat food and we donât even feel safe anymore. For our own safety we didnât say anything.
I was wondering how could such a high rated restaurant be so empty, I think now I have the...
Read moreThis is the most overrated place I have ever been to. Most of the foods are bland and boring. The noodle is really tough and way undercooked, but unlike udon, they are hard to chew. This is a very first time I cannot finish a bowl of noodle because eating them is too tiring. The sauce or soup of the noodle dishes are bland and boring. The topping is lackluster too. The only plus side is that the vegetable seems fresh comparing to other imbiss. The boiled dumplings are also messed up big time. The skin is way to thick that it is not cooked properly. The outer part looks like it has melted down but the inner part is still raw. The filling is little and uninspired as well. The only saving grace is the fried dumplings which only tastes ok, not anything special. For the price, I guess it is on a lower end so I don't expect much but at least the food should be edible, not undercooked. The shop seems naturally crowded but it is because each table has to wait like 30 mins for the...
Read moreI came here without any high expectations considering the place and cheap price, but still I'm really disappointed. The noodles was hard and bland for my personal preference. The momos skin is too thick. I know they give big portion for such low price, but Its better to make smaller portion with better flavour. Or maybe I just don't get tibetan dish? But I have east asian background so I think I know what a good noodle and dumplings is.
Oh, and the waiting time took forever. It was full there but only 2 work in the kitchen, I think, and 1 who takes orders.
And the service was not it đ he dont react to what you say, dont smile and only talk if needed. I mean I don't have any problems with that kind of service and it doesnt weigh in my rating, but I just want to put...
