Cheers — Restaurant in Freiburg im Breisgau

My partner and I took a day trip to Freiburg between our stays in Munich and Strasbourg and we found this hidden gem as we were walking around after lunch. We discovered Cheers as part of a walking food tour (Hungry Birds- highly recommend it). Tom, the proprietor, was a wonderful host. We had beer and a local dish with wurst salad, potatoes and sour cream (Badischen something. Sorry - forgot the name). Food was delicious. Tucked away in the heart of Freiburg, this bar is a real gem.
