Stayed there for 2 days in Freiburg and mainly picked the hotel due to the proximity of the people we were visiting.||||The Kaiser Freiburg is basically a restaurant with 15 rooms attached to it, whereby some rooms don´t have showers. Read moreWe stayed with Herr and Frau Peter for two nights in May 2014 for our second visit to Baden-Baden, and we were delighted by our welcoming hosts. This is a fine little hotel with affordable rates (we paid 72 Euros per night), and it is in an great location for experiencing Baden-Baden. It is an easy 15-20 walk through the park to the center of activity in Baden-Baden, including the Friedrichshafen baths, and the pathway, which follows the little stream by the wonderful old homes and gardens, is a highlight of one's stay in this town. We were driving, and we were happy to find ample on-street parking next to the hotel. One tip: do not confuse this place with the Deutscher Kaiser Hotel. This place has the very similar name of the Hotel and Restaurant Deutscher Kaiser. The web sites are different, of course. We enjoyed a fine breakfast and the wi-fi...
