Cafe Auszeit — Restaurant in Fulda

I think I just discovered my favourite Cafe in Fulda! Hot drinks were perfect (we ordered cappuccino with oat milk and the foam was just perfect, just as the taste of the drink). The breakfast (big plate for two) was amazing. Everything was fresh and perfectly decorated. The portion size - excellent! It even includes two croissants with jam, which we ate as a desert. Regarding deserts, we saw 5 different fresh made cakes (including cinnamon buns) which were presented beautifully. While eating, I saw how the staff „danced“ together as a team. They opened the door for a customer on their way out, as their both hands were carrying the drinks to go. They managed the time seating for guests that didn’t have any reservations and the ones that did. We were pretty much stuffed from the breakfast, so we ordered two cakes to go. As I opened the cake boxes, I saw another beautiful surprise - the portion and the fruit decorations. Can’t wait to visit this place...

Great cafe with relaxed atmosphere and yummy coffee! I was looking for a nice cafe to just sit and work for a bit one afternoon and I stumbled upon this one. It was interesting to me that they had Vietnamese coffee so I ordered that one immediately and it was delicious. They also had wifi that guests could use so I was able to work while enjoying my coffee. They also had some spring specials and I could resist ordering their iced matcha and it did not disappoint. I wasn't able to try any of the food but will delifinitely come back to try those next time for sure! Further, the service crew were all nice and everyone greets you when you arrive and leave. Overall, great experience. The only downside I would say is that one could only pay with cash at moment. Hopefully that...

Ich war über längere Zeit ein sehr großer Fan des Cafés. Es war mein Lieblingscafé. Nach dem Besitzerwechsel hat sich für mich persönlich das Café aber leider nicht zum Besseren verändert. Meinen Vorrednern kann ich mich daher leider nicht anschließen. Der Service ist nicht mehr so gut wie vorher. In der Vergangenheit war ich rundum zufrieden. Wurde schnell bedient, nett empfangen und habe mich immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kellner wirkt leider nicht besonders motiviert, sondern eher so als hätte er keinen Spaß an dem was er tut. Das Essen ist nach wie vor gut und ich finde es schön, dass die Speisen so beibehalten wurden bzw. ergänzt wurden. Der Kaffee wurde mir leider nicht heiß, sondern eher lauwarm und eine Weile nachdem ich meinen Kuchen bekommen hatte, serviert. Leider gibt es auch die Zimtschnecken nicht mehr wie gewohnt mittwochs, sondern am Wochenende. Mittwochs konnte ich immer gut welche vorbestellen und abholen, am Wochenende ist mir dies nahezu nie möglich. Auch der Auftritt auf Instagram gestaltet sich aktuell sehr positiv wie ich finde. Es gibt neue Beiträge und regelmäßige Stories. Das finde ich gut und eine gelungene Verbesserung. Ich hätte mir allerdings gewünscht, dass der Besitzerwechsel erwähnt wird.
