After a disappointing time at Seehaus Hamburg, we wandered down a bustling street filled with restaurants in search of a better experience. Our quest led us to Vasco Da Gama. Warmly greeted by a gentleman, we inquired about a table for two. Although he didn't utter a word, his beaming smile and welcoming gestures spoke volumes. "Follow me," he motioned. The aroma of the kitchen enveloped us, instantly transporting me back to Portugal. The restaurant's nautical decor lent an air of adventure. The wine was superb, the octopus exquisite, and the Cataplana left me speechless. A shoutout to our multilingual waiter, Jose, fluent in English, German, and Spanish, who truly impressed. The longstanding dedication of the entire staff, including the cooks, shone through; they've all been part of this establishment for over a decade. A place that absolutely deserves a visit. It's a seafood lover's dreamâI spot food,...

Then, the worst: unfriendly/unpolite behaviour when you argue on that, saying that they erroneously brought these snacks to you table instead to those who ordered it, but you ha e to pay because you are it. This place gives a bad image of Portugal in Hamburg! Other restaurants in the same street are far better/friendlier. Lionel B....
