Feldstern — Restaurant in Hamburg

As much as I want to give this place a five star- I gotta let others know that it was a difficult time to be here and enjoy everything- the time delay was beyond an hour for food- and even 20-30 minutes to get the order placed — which was frustrating- the food was “ok”. They carry a great vegan menu and regular menu- for the night we were there I believe they were very understaffed. Our server was racing around- but the benches outside are very uncomfortable and narrow and sitting on them for 90+ minutes was definitely a negative. We asked for check and still didn’t get it so I had to go in and ask and pay- again it was obvious they were understaffed but well liked by all who were there. I would recommend going- but if it’s busy or they haven’t hired someone else for assistance- prepare...

Amazing service, best food, lots of vegan options and cozy candlelight atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful waitress, assisted with choosing the dish as they only have menus in German. Reasonable prices for portion sizes. If you're looking for a quiet place, I wouldn't recommend it indoor, as it can get a bit loud with the music and people, but that didn't bother me. :) Also quite nice outdoor area (much quieter I guess), which I would love to come back and enjoy during summer! Really enjoyable visit to Feldstern, warm and friendly staff, great Vegan selection of food and great beers including organic beer. Prices are really reasonable and servings are filling, though I ate everything in front of me , it was too good to leave any!! They don't take cards just cash but the staff helped me with directions to an ATM so I could get cash to settle my bill. I have to say this is a must visit if your Vegan or not , hungery...
