Karo Fisch — Restaurant in Hamburg

I came to this restaurant because of the good reviews from Google. But sadly I had a bad experience there. My husband ordered an alcohol free bier and he got the alcohol bier. I ordered the Lemonade and I got Ice tea, which is totally different in pronunciation but they said it was because of my German language 🙃 The big problem was we had ordered 3 dishes and after a long waiting time, we got only 2 dishes. Again, it was because of misunderstanding, not hearing, as they said, while they had taken a note seriously when I ordered. Of course I don't believe that. 3 times misunderstanding? they shouldn't work in customer service area. I Have no idea why we was treated like that. Is that because we're Asian? I saw in some reviews that people got free garlic bread and salad before the main dish. We got nothing. Can you please explain? I intended to send them 1 star for the service, but at the end, they didn't count the "wrong Lemonade" in the bill. At least they tried to fix their mistakes, but never again I come...

I decided to try this place after noticing how busy it was while passing by recently on a nice afternoon.

I ordered the fish and chips and was a bit surprised at the quantity of fish I received as well as its presentation. I received a fish filet which was breaded similarly to a Fischstäbchen and served pre-sliced atop a full bed of thinly sliced potato rounds. At 9€, I expected a bit more fish and also had the mindset of a British style fish and chips experience at the time I ordered. That said, everything was properly prepared and tasted great! The fish and potatoes were both well seasoned and properly fried (i.e. not oily or greasy) and were accompanied by a set of three nice mayo-based sauces.

I noticed many other diners seemed to be enjoying a fish sandwich and I'm curious to know more about. Perhaps this is the "must-try" dish of the restaurant. I plan to return...
