If you want to come here just because it's for cat people, I wouldn't recommend it. I gently petted a cat for about 2 seconds (which the cat was totally fine with) and then two employees gave me a lecture with an attitude about how it's not ok to pet them. Well, I've had cats since I was born, I know them very well, I know exactly how to pet them and respect their boundaries. And if a cat doesn't want to be touched, it will definitely let you know. How can even anyone speak for the cat and decide what it feels like? Also, if you don't like people coming into your cafe and wanting to see the cats (which should be the whole point of the cafe, especially considering the fact that the food is mid), maybe you shouldn't have opened it in the first place? They made me look like I was a terrible person for petting a cat for 2 seconds, but the fact that these people literally lock these poor cats in a small room full of people every day, not allowing them to go outside, live like normal animals, enjoy their freedom, and on top of that depriving them of love and affection from people is totally alright?! And I'm the "bad guy"? Okey. It was the attitude they gave me, as if I was a snake who obviously was about to eat the cat and these chosen prophets came and saved the poor cat from a villain like me. The food was okeyish, btw they have a very small food range. I found the prices a bit expensive. As soon as you walk in something feels off, you feel somehow not welcome. Overall not recommended! Read moreThe staff are rude. We entered and did not have a perfect interlock in place whereby the first door was not perfectly closed before the second door. Then we were accosted. Then when we were served my colleague (who is Canadian, so friendly and likes to talk—not German), made conversation about about an alternative system whereby it would not be possible to open both front doors at the same time. Well this was not well received at all, I thought the waiter was about to start crying, she looked extremely emotional. My Canadian colleague thanked me (with irony) for bringing us there. I won't go back, it was embarrassing how bad the service was and how rude the lady was. It was the waitress with the ginger hair. She was really rather odd indeed.
Tip: if your system regarding keeping the cats secure results in shouting at people the moment they've entered your premises, then the guest is not to blame, you need to invest in a better system.
Tip 2: Don't open a cat cafe on a very very busy road. That is your responsibility. It is nothing to do with...
Read more🐾 Cozy Cat Café – A Purr-fect Experience! 🐾
The café is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the company of cats 🐱.
The cats are clearly well cared for 🐾. They have plenty of space to roam, good food, and areas where they can retreat to quieter spots if they want. You can pet and play with many of the cats, and most of them come toward you for attention and fun 🎾🐾, making the visit a joy. The downside is the food 🍰☕, which isn’t great. However, let’s be honest—we come here for the cats, not the menu. The suggestion would eating only the dessert here.
Tips for a better visit 🐾 Be gentle and let the cats approach you—they’re very friendly. 🐱 Don’t expect gourmet food; come for the experience. 📸 Bring your camera for some adorable moments with the cats. We played bingo to see who could find all cats first
