Peter Pane — Restaurant in Hamburg

I went there with a friend in a Thursday night for dinner with no reservation.

Ambience: Great interior design, it's a stylish place with warm colors, the big surrounding windows makes the place feel open and the dim lights give it a cozy atmosphere. Try to look at the ceiling when you go there, it is quite interesting. Music was a bit too loud (maybe it was just on that day and it's my only reason to not give five stars)

Booking: the place is very crowded at dinner time, so reservations are recommended. However I went there with a friend without a reservation and we got a table after waiting a bit.

Food: Food selection is great! They have regular burgers and also vegetarian, vegan and lowcarb options. Check their website because it has the menu there. The quality is great and the non-meat options are certainly a different change of taste that is totally worth to try! Their sweet potatoes fries are delicious! I totally recommend a serving of those.

Service: Waiters are fun and good to talk to. They are also fast getting your order.

In conclusion, it's a fancier place to eat a different burger. Good for special occasions and also a great option if you have a vegetarian/vegan/low carb in your group. It's better to book before...

The burger (Lagerfeuer) was delicious 🤤! The drink (Waldbeere-Vanille /wild berries and vanilla ), which was a sort of homemade limonade, was not at all to my taste (it tasted like medicine, like a syrup for fieber). The desserts were very good. I shared a dessert varition for two people. According to what the waiter explained, it usually has two frozen yogurt bowls, a chocolate fondant/lava cake (Schokoladeküchlein) and another dessert that can vary, for us was a chocolate cake (Sir Choc-A-Lot). The frozen yogurt was tasty, one bowl had cherries and cherry syrup syrup and the other apple compote. The fondant was super good, and the Sir Choc-A-Lot was good (I preferred the fondant). The staff was super nice. The food didn't take long, but the desserts and some drinks we ordered later in the night took a while, I guess because the place was fuller then. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and the music volume allowed us to have conversations without difficulty. Dogs are allowed inside! Reservation of tables...

We came here for lunch. Service was awesome as soon as he showed up. Very good energy, very friendly and relatable. Absolutely happy to give him five stars for that. Drinks were good as well. The atmosphere during lunch was relaxed. We ordered the Mittagstisch, which is competitively priced at 10 Euro for burger, fries and a drink. However, I was not happy with the burger at all. The meat is not good. It does neither look nor taste appealing. I remember this from past visits at Peter Pane and should have known better. The quality might be better with the Black Angus, but I really have to advise against ordering the regular beef patty. Even McDonalds delivers a better flavor with their beef.
