I personally love this place, I like the vibe and it's welcoming for queer folk like me. They always have really nice cakes and good foods, they take cards. Don't come here if you are in a Hurry, it's typically semi full there and the staff usually is two or three people, so things sometimes come out slowly but they come out good. If you dislike that they let people come in and panhandle you might not want to come here. They are quite frequently coming in but it's usually nice people who are down on their luck. Great spot for coffee, tea and fresh baked cakes and pies--that are made by hand, by someone that is clearly really into baking. They offer free WiFi. chill music and the service is perfectly St. Pauli.

The peppermint tea is made fresh with real peppermint and served with a side of honey. They also have bottled beer and a not-too limited bar, so cocktails are possible if that's your thing.

There is only one bathroom, and a line forms when it gets crowded so maybe not the place for you if you drink like a fish but with a blatter the size of a pea--you know who I am...

Do yourself a favor - go to Kraweel and get the warm goat cheese salad and then a piece of cheesecake! They really also know how to make good coffee.
