This wax museum was a surprise in the centre of the St Pauli strip. For €6.50 there was a lot more figures than I expected to see, and the fact that they include an English or German audiotape alongside it was a big plus. My only issue is that I'm not big on history so I was hoping for less historical figures, and more movie/music stars. However, it was a nice way to spend an hour so I would consider it a nice experience either way!

A small but lovely place to visit. Me and my daughter visited the museum in a cold rainy day and at the entrance we find out that we have no place to leave our coats and umbrella. Beside this inconvenient, we enjoyed the wax figures some of them lifelike representations.

It is something to do. Poor information about queing and how to get in to the exhibition. The exhibition itself was ok, but primarily of german kanzlers and german actors and singers. Very few international people where portrayed. A little bit boring.

Dieses Panoptikum, hat mich doch etwas enttäuscht. Es ist sehr klein. Relativ trist. Klar, mal hier und mal da bisschen was an den Wänden. Aber viele Figuren stehen einfach nur da, sind nicht in Szene gesetzt. Es sind 3 Etagen die gut über Treppen zu erreichen sind. Für Rollstuhlfahrer nicht geeignet, da kein Fahrstuhl vorhanden ist und die gänge sind recht schmal an einigen Stellen. Toilette war in Ordnung. Personal war freundlich, der Preis mit ca 7 Euro war auch vollkommen in Ordnung. Ich war nur sehr erschrocken. Wir sind aus Amsterdam besseres gewöhnt, mit viel drumherum und viel mehr Spannung und Spaß. Hier geht man tatsächlich nur die Gänge entlang ohne selber was testen zu können.

It is a nice place to visit. But i was expecting a bit more than what I saw. The wax figures are somehow not kept to the body scale. The personal was very welcoming and helpful! Will visit again if given the occasion.

Wir waren etwas enttäuscht. Aber vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass unsere Vorst eine andere war. Es ist gepflegt und sauber. Die Figuren sind größtenteils eher geschichtlicher Herkunft. Ein paar jüngere Prominente und Hamburger Persönlichkeiten sind auch dabei. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, der Preis ist mit 7,50 Euro vollkommen gerechtfertigt. Wir haben dort ca 1 Stunde verbracht. Aus unserer Sicht reicht ein einmaliger Besuch. Wenn man ein Stündchen Zeit hat und in der Nähe ist, ist es sicherlich einen Besuch wert. Achtung: wer online Tickets hat muss trotzdem vor dem Einlass ab die Kasse. Daher nicht zwingend erforderlich
