Kropkå — Restaurant in Hamburg

On our trip to Hamburg to enrich our culinary experience, we woke up on a Sunday morning (very late) and decided to go for a rich breakfast. We chose Das Kropkå and were prepared to wait knowing it would be crowded. Upon arriving we were welcomed by very nice staff that made our waiting very pleasant. Here you can find free water, kids entertainment, and a staff that is passionate about their work. We got our seats in this small and cozy place with only good vibes and ordered two Avocado breads and a house blend coffee. The atmosphere is made with a lot of love, you will find magazines and hand lotions, cactuses and warm lights as well as things to buy like coffee and mugs. It is a very family friendly place! Our breakfast was just amazing: try the soft, crunchy and thick bread slices topped with fresh cream cheese and a whole amazing avocado 🥑 with sesame and salmon covered by a juicy egg! Flat White was just amazing! The food was delicious, but bread was not so good as I expected, it was not very fresh and not crunchy at all . But when we ordered grilled cheese sandwiches it was delicious. The concept of sandwiches is like Lego, every ingredient has a separate price and you can collect what you want. Sehr gutes Frühstück, freundliches, aufmerksames und kompetentes Personal, schneller Service, stimmiges Ambiente. Und vor allem: Es schmeckte alles gut (Brote mit Pilzen, mit Lachs und mit Avocado, Joghurt mit Granola, Tee-Limonade/Eistee, Kaffee. Lemon Cheesecake zum Abschluss geteilt). Oder kurz: Alles perfekt!

Kuchen aus der Virtine sahen alle super lecker aus, leider war nur noch "Platz" für einen zu dritt.

Alles ist handmade, frisch, lokal, besser geht's nicht. Preislich vollkommen angemessen zumal für das, was man bekommt. Brote z.B. reichlich belegt, Joghurt Bowl auch groß mit genügend Topping und Soße (siehe Bilder).

Auswahl ist sowohl morgens als auch mittags jeweils ein wenig beschränkt; schade z.B. dass es Shashuka z.B. erst später gibt. Dafür dann die Frühstücksgerichte nicht mehr. Auch vor 10 Uhr mit dem Frühstück zu starten, könnte ich mir als Gast vorstellen.

Bedeutet natürlich für die Mitarbeiter noch früher noch mehr Arbeit. Das ist wahrscheinlich einfach (aktuell) nicht "drin". Für mich trotzdem ein kleiner Wehrmutstropfen, der allerdings vollkommen nachvollziehbar ist und in keiner Form zu einer Abwertung führt!

Atmosphäre ist entspannt, Publikum geschätzt überwiegend Gen Y mit Ausreißern in beide Richtungen. Auch 2 ältere Herren (~65) fielen letztendlich nicht auf.
