We had pretty good dining experience at Yong. Right now during Covid, there are lots of outdoor seatings where you don't need a test, or indoors if you have Genesenenachweis or full vaccination proof. The tables maintain good distance between each other. Staff is really friendly, attentive and helpful. Even the woman making dumplings at the bar smiles at everyone walking by. The interior is beautiful with modern Korean drawings in combination with the old architecture of the building. I wonder what it was in the past. The high ceiling also makes the restaurant feel more open and relaxed. The food is generally ok. The ingredients in the mixed rice bibimbap are fresh and not overly seasoned. However with that price, I genuinely expect a fried egg on top like any other Korean restaurant. Instead you have to pay extra for the egg if you want. The fried chicken with soy sauce tastes good, but a bit too salty and sweet (perfect if you are drunk) and unfortunately not very crispy. The rice roll kimbap is rolled too losely and doesn't come with any sauce. Its flavor is also not outstanding. There is a woman wrapping the dumplings at the bar where everyone who goes to WC will have to pass by. Many people also stop to ask her questions. A bit of hygiene worry here. But also because of the freshly made dumplings, it makes me want to come back and try them :P Conclusion: Average food. Amazing interior. Attentive staff. But will come back to try the dumplings.

Yong, located in a bustling neighborhood, is a culinary hotspot that consistently draws a crowd. Its popularity means that arriving without a reservation often leads to a wait for seating. The menu is diverse, with an impressive array of vegan choices. While gluten-free options are somewhat limited, they thoughtfully provide gluten-free soy sauce, mainly catering to the vegan dishes due to meat preparations involving marination or deep frying. The staff at Yong showed top-notch professionalism, enhancing the dining experience. Moreover, the restaurant embraces modern convenience with a QR code system for effortless phone payments, a thoughtful addition for those who prefer a quick and easy checkout. The food itself is a delightful journey of flavors, served in satisfyingly hearty portions.

We had lunch here. The menus at lunchtime have a good price-performance ratio. They are served including a small delicious soup. The waitresses were very friendly. The disadvantage was that we had to wait a long time both to place the order and to check out. We were in no hurry, which is why it was not a problem for us. However, if it had been during a lunch break at work, it would have taken us over an hour total - too long for lunch in my opinion.

Went here with some friends a couple of days ago for a dinner - It was a Friday night - and we had made reservations. Their german (or english) wasnt very good and they don't use opentable (or some other online service), but do all reservations per phone - anyway, they lost the reservation. I suggested just pushing together two double tables (we were 4 persons), which they did. In the meantime, the waitress tried to get us to get up and go to a "nicer" table in the corner, which we did - but as soon as we got to said table, the party of 4 who had reserved it (their name was even on the table!) had arrived and asked us to please not sit down at their table. How Embarrasing!! :-( We went back to our original table - the ordering process was kind of like ordering from fast food - if you asked to have anything changed, the waitress was immediately overwhelmed and very confused (for example, I just asked for my meal to be extra spicy), so you just wind up saying, "fine, nevermind, just the number 41 with soy-garlic souce". :-/ Food was fine and everything else was fine. I probably won't come back here...

The restaurant looks really nice and the waiters were really friendly, but our waiter was unable to explain what backed Moshi is apart from telling it's a Korean dessert. Everything is saved really beautiful and thoughtful. We ordered Mandu as starters and they were really tasty. Unfortunately the main dishes we ordered (crispy tofu & BBQ beef) were very mediocre. The beef did not taste like BBQ but rather like cooked in broth. Tofu was totally not crispy which suggests it is fried long before served. The dishes were still pretty tasty but absolutely not reflecting their description in the menu. The backed Moshi was tasty though it seemed to be fried rather than backed.

On top of that we got a table at the end of the restaurant room, close to the toilets and sometimes I felt the smell of urine coming from the toilets (not only when someone was...
