My husband and I made a table reservation online, when we arrived at the restaurant at 5pm today we were greeted by a rude Persian speaking woman who was the waitress/cashier. She claimed we didn't make a reservation and I showed her the confirmation email. Then she showed us a table where we could sit. My husband ordered Schweppes Ginger Ale to drink and I "Ayran" = yogurt drink. My husband's drink had no carbonation at all. My ayran tasted sour, probably old yogurt. In addition, she poured Ayran from a coke pet bottle. It was not clear from the menu that it is homemade Ayran. We ordered two meza, hommus and Kibbeh. The kibbeh tasted downright bad, it was a different spice that had been used that took over the whole taste. From the menu it appeared that Kibbeh is filled with minced meat, onions and walnuts. There were no walnuts in it, but instead pomegranate seeds. I then ordered chicken skewers with rice and my husband veal fillet with rice. My husband tasted his food but said he absolutely will not be able to eat. the meat was tasteless and like rubber, it couldn't be chewed. The rice was slightly different rice, yellow and contained something more than just rice, which was also not clear from the menu. My chicken, on the other hand, was edible, not really good, but it was still eatable. However, it was very little in quantity, a total of 8 small pieces of chicken divided on two small wooden skewers. Barely 100g. I tasted the rice but like my husband couldn't eat it and what was annoying was that it wasn't clear on the menu that it wasn't plain white rice. We paid €64 for everything. The only thing we ate was hommus and the small 8 pieces of chicken. The Persian waitress/cashier was on the phone throughout our visit, when we were about to leave she checked on our table and asked if everything was in order to which my husband said no. She didn't ask why though. We went straight home and cooked because we were hungry. Even if I would get free food, I would not visit the...
Read moreI would not recommend this restaurant at all especially Ramadan's Buffet which was extremely expensive for what was offered : 1- they had not much choice for the main dish only chicken and meat that tasted bad 2- No bread was offered or Kebba or some of local pies, only 3 options for the appetizers. 3- No dattes where offered on Iftar for fasting people and local tee was not offered but you had to pay extrat which I find a shame for 30€ price 4- for desert same thing but even worst they offered fresh fruit salad but with no fresh fruits, most of them where industrial box fruits ... Long story short if you are going for iftar please don't waste your money because it's big scam and I really don't think we would go back to try the menu because I think it will be the same...
Read moreI went there with a friend. The atmosphere was good, the bad experience started as soon as waitress came. It's unimaginable how unfriendly can a waitress be. She placed the menus at the edge of the table, didn't greet or ask if something can already be ordered. 10 minutes later she was there, we asked her how is the baba ganoush be prepared, with jougrt/Tahini or plain eggplant (there ARE different recipes, google it). She literally said we should read the menus carefully of we need more information, the point is, there is neither information nor photos in the menu. How impatient and rude can someone be was beyond us! Food was not bad but overpriced for what you get in terms of...
