Choa Restaurant — Restaurant in Heidelberg

We celebrated the birthday of my baby sister here. We arrived here from the Hbf via a bus number 20 and the bus stop is right at the front of the restaurant. We were then greeted by a darling kind waitress and given a choice to sit where we wanted.

Food was the most fresh Sushi I have had in Germany so far. Also their starters like the Miso soup were really good. The drinks such as the lemonade were fresh, not too sugary and Boujee.

As mentioned above we celebrated a birthday here, I had bought an adorable cake with me for celebration, and upon asking the waitress, she was jolly good about giving us extra spoons and a knife to cut it.

We paid 75€ for two people, which included two big drinks, two sushi mixed plates, and two miso soup.

100% recommend them. The most fun part was the very 80s asian music playing here...

Went there because of good rating, but was disappointed. First, the location- is not really good, you won’t be sitting and looking on the beautiful historic streets, it looks more like a metro place. Interior inside is not bad. Second, we faced with bad service, we waited more than 30 minutes to order. Then more then 30 minutes to pay. Food was good and interesting serving the dish. We ordered the family menu+ some other rolls, and for so big bill we expected perfect service. We approached him more than 4 times to ask for a selfie box for the person in the car... it was terrible. He just went to serve other tables and forgot. What to say, expectations were high but the experience was the opposite. . The sushi is not really tasty, it is more about the presentation than the dish itself, that does not taste as the great sushi. Moreover what is meant to be for 2 or 3 persons, hopefully is only enough for 2. And not cheap. My son ordered schnitzel mit pommes and he got Tofu with something else. After complaining he got schnitzel with rice.. so imagine that the service was not the best. Additionally the dishes are not cheap and the bill at the end was heavy... not to...
