It’s definitely a cool spot. the onion rings? Easily some of the best we’ve ever had. Super crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of seasoning. Honestly, we’ve gone there just for those onion rings more than once. They’re that good.

The kitchen really knows what they’re doing. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and the prices are super fair. So in terms of what you get on your plate, it’s pretty much perfect.

Now… the service? Not so much. The servers aren’t very attentive, and getting their attention can be frustrating. Whether it’s ordering, getting your drinks, or asking for the check, you kind of have to wave them down or wait way too long. And it’s not just a one-time thing, we’ve been there a few times now, and the experience has been the same with different staff.

It’s such a shame because the location is great and the food is top-notch. If the service matched the quality of the kitchen, this place would be unbeatable. Fingers crossed they improve on...

This was my second time visiting. The first time I was with a basque-Brazilian and an African American; we came for dinner. They were busy but the service was decent and the burgers even better. So I came back a second time a few weeks later, but by myself for a late lunch. They were still busy but not as much as that first dinner. When the server took a while, I was understanding. I pulled out my book and read. Waited about 5 minutes. They came to me when another customer, German-speaking, sat next to my table, but they offered him the menu first before me. Then another party of four came in with a dog on a leash; they sat by the window. Staff comes out immediately with a bowl of water for the dog. Serving-staff can be culturally insensitive, verging on racist. Burgers are great, but don't know if I'll return....

Folks! You have to try this place, some of the most “on point” places for food I’ve been visiting in Heidelberg and maybe in the whole Germany 🇩🇪. All branding is on point and really cool. Food is a 10/10 burger 🍔 super crispy bacon 🥓 and meat on point, juicy but not rare but, crunchy but not roasted… DE-LI-CIOUS-NESS 🫣🫠. Service was super nice and helping even I understand but I speak no German. The terrace is in a very hip and scenic small street in the center of town, I decided to stay outside since it was crazy hot and I wanted to smoke. Best news it’s a Cannabis 🍁 Friendly place since I got there with my joint and the offered me an ashtray!! 👌🏽✨❤️‍🔥💯 which I loved. Not much more to say that the servings are big and I didn’t pay a lot, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a visit if you’re in Heidelberg...
