HORRIBLE service; mediocre, flavorless, and greasy food. Had such high hopes for this place given the positive reviews and looking at their menu, but instead had a terrible experience all the way around. Server took 35 minutes to get us our drink order (2 black coffees and 3 waters). When she finally arrived she only brought one of each and then took another 10 minutes to bring the others—a total of 45 minutes wait for a cup of coffee. This is particularly ironic since this place claims to be an American style dinner. One of the key features of a diner is a coffee cup on the table which gets filled the moment the server comes over. As for the food… She brought our daughters waffle out at the same time as the single coffee, however our two other meals took another 25 minutes! Our daughters waffle was dry and hard, as if it had been pre-made hours before and then warmed up in a toaster. To make it worse, the syrup that the server brought with it had a wasp in it. It took us another 10 minutes to get her to even see the syrup and then she never brought another. 1 Star for the food.

No customer service when entering, so we stood clueless then seated somewhere random, waited roughly 15 minutes for a menu. Noticed 3 plates on the side waiting to be served, employee walks past and says nothing, goes straight to her phone that’s on charge, finally someone else finishes her chat behind us, thought it was a customer, and gave us a menu, ordered the London English Breakfast and 2 cokes, came in tiny glasses, first time I’ve paid €4 for 0.2ml of coke. Went for a smoke while still waiting for our food. Food finally arrived, bacon and egg was cold, sausages were warm and the baked beans were steaming hot at the least. The egg was slimy with raw yoke, which was easily removed so that’s fine, unfortunately it was nothing similar to an English breakfast apart from the structure, not that it’s a big deal, would just be nice.

So yeah, 1 star for the location and the food. I would definitely come here for a coffee if I had plenty of time to chill with friends. Definitely a social spot and not a restaurant.

Customer service is main issue, noticed things ran better when the younger staff member came in for her shift.
