El Taquito — Restaurant in Karlsruhe

The place was promising when we first walked in, looking nearly like a legitimate Mexican restaurant from the States. There is a little "cube" on the table to signal for service and payment, which just seemed unnecessary and probably slowed down the service, which was OK in the end. The menu also seemed promising at first, until we realized that some favorites like a chimichanga were only on the vegetarian menu, which led to similar discoveries of strange limits in options to the dishes, as well as strange ingredients like olives. Wonderful place for tasting Mexican dishes. Authentic taste and well served. Dishes are good and sumptuous. Clean and neat place. Usually there's a wait at this place because of the crowd especially during weekends. But it's always easy to get a place! Prices are nominal and decent. Good place to catch up for lunch and dinner with friends, family and dates. There's a sit out area as well but it's available only during summer time. There's no parking lot as such. There's a list of dishes and varieties to choose from. The food is tasty and healthy with fresh taste and well cooked. Must try...

🇩🇪 Wir kommen seit 1983 immer wieder gerne hierher, um richtig gute mexikanische Küche 🌮 zu genießen, das Essen war, wie immer sehr lecker 😋 und wurde von dem äußerst freundlichem Personal schnell serviert, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig und meiner Meinung nach auch nicht übertrieben, weiter so 👍
