Lottis Traum — Restaurant in Karlsruhe

We went there last Sunday, we were 2 people and it was for a late breakfast and left feeling mad and like having waisted my whole morning.

You could tell there was problem inside the kitchen and the waiting time was too long, arrived around 10:30 had to wait to almost 11 to get my order taken and to 12 to receive just some bread and an omelette, the musli never arrive, after getting the omelette I had to wait gor like 5 minutes to get a fork or a spoon, tried to ask for some salt and pepper but they never came, had to ask the table next to us if they could lend us some.

We tried to ask sooner if the food was going to take too long or if could change things so we it will come faster, but there was none outside, absolutely everyone were in the kitchen, when someone came out it was just to deliver the food and run back inside.

Nobody apologized or explained why it took almost an hour to get our food, and by the end when all we wanted was to leave to get to see some of the city, we ask for to pay, they told us to wait and took them like 20 more minutes just to get the bill. It was almost 2 hours spend on a late breakfast! And we didn't order that much.

An sich ein schönes Café, Ausstattung sehr schön, leider war die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich und schnippisch. Als wir unsere Bestellung aufgaben wirkte sie fast genervt, dabei waren wir die einzigen Kunden im Café. Der Kaffee war okay, hat aber leicht bitter geschmeckt. Die Waffeln waren auch lecker, für den Preis doch etwas wenig bemessen ( in einem anderen Café gab's für den Preis die doppelte Anzahl; ich würde vorschlagen die Anzahl der Waffeln auf dem Schild zu kennzeichnen, damit man genau weiß was man bekommt). Als meine Mutter bezahlen wollte und sich beim Zahlen mit der EC Karte verdrückte, weil die Tasten sehr schwerfällig sind, und sie den Vorgang abbrach wurde sie regelrecht angeschnauzt von der Bedienung. Sowohl die Stimmung meiner Mutter und meine sind danach direkt in den Keller. Wir haben beschlossen dieses Café nicht mehr zu besuchen auch wenn Atmosphäre echt schön ist... schade

Zusatz: Danke an Lottis Traum für die Antwort, nur schade, dass Sie sich meine Kritik wohl etwas zu sehr zu Herzen genommen haben und Sie anscheinend nicht mal richtig gelesen haben. Meiner Kritik habe ich direkt einen Vorschlag beigefügt, die Sie anscheinend überlesen haben. Bei einem Stück Kuchen erwartet man 1 Stück Kuchen, bei Waffeln mindesten 2, aber halt nicht 1, deswegen auch der Vorschlag die Anzahl auf dem Schild zu vermerken oder dem Kunden die Möglichkeit geben, die Anzahl auszusuchen und den entsprechenden Preis zu zahlen. Zum Thema Freudnlichkeit....es tut mir leid, aber Sie haben sich das Dienstleistungsgewerbe ausgesucht, und der Kunde ist eigentlich König. Der Kunde sollte nicht spüren müssen dass das Personal einen schlechten Tag hat, dafür geht man nicht in ein Café. Ein kleines "es tut mir leid, ich habe keinen guten Tag" hätte die Situation entschärft. Ihre Antwort spricht nicht gerade für Kritikfähigkeit.
