A well-known cocktail bar in Karlsruhe, Germany, situated at Hirschstraße 17. Founded by Roman Koffer in 2012, the bar is celebrated for its extensive and inventive cocktail menu. It emphasizes high-quality ingredients, including house-made syrups and freshly pressed juices, which contribute to the notable quality of its drinks. The bar's ambiance is both cozy and stylish, making it a popular spot among both locals and visitors. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with bottled water and snacks such as peanuts and crunchy salty things, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. The cocktail selection is vast, featuring both classic and creatively unique drinks. Prices typically range from €9 to €14 reflecting the quality and craftsmanship involved, as well as some of the products utilized in the process. Some of the “portioning” could be more generous for the price, such as the old fashioned we all finished rather quickly. Other drinks such as the portamaletas was a bit more decent in that regard. Order in advance, as sometimes the somewhat complex drinks take long to prepare, and even with just 3 or 4 tables busy on a Tuesday night it can take up to 10 - 15 mins to deliver the order for a party of 5 people. Der KofferRaum operates from Monday to Saturday, from 7 PM to 3 AM, and remains closed on Sundays. Some weekdays it closes earlier though, about an hour past midnight. The bar's dedication to quality and its unique offerings have made it a top destination for cocktail enthusiasts in Karlsruhe. Payments accepted with cash or card.

Went for a girls night with a friend and it did not disappoint choosing this bar. The vibe was so fun. The service was really good. We even got our water topped up all the time. We were lucky we got there quite early because it got full soo quickly and tables turned fast. The whole atmosphere was just a lovely evening spend. Definitely going back. Also love the whole luggage theme. And the staff seemed so professional light hearted and fun.

Really high quality cocktails in a pretty chill environment. It can get very busy (understandably so), but the service is very attentive and drinks usually arrive really quickly despite the crowd. The old fashioned is absolutely perfect, and the original cocktails created by Roman are interesting and absolutely worth a try.

We came here attempting to find a good cocktail bar in karlsruhe, our first attempt that evening was guts and glory which was catastrophically bad. Der kofferraum was the antidote. A great classical cocktail bar atmosphere with davis/Coltrane era jazz music playing at a low enough level to be unobtrusive and a busy but comfortable atmosphere. Our servers were friendly, attentive and very quick despite the bar being totally full. The menu is a great combination of staple classics and creative signature cocktails. Since we were testing out the bars we opted for signatures only. The first round was a devil's triangle and the South American Apple pie. Both were delicious. The devil's triangle presented on a wooden board dressed as a beach scene complete with pirate ship, was spicy, sour and fruity with a good sweet kick from the three rum base. The Apple pie was a sweet and sour treat, well balanced and very drinkable. The next round was a French love and an odins horn (which arrived in an actual drinking horn). The former was a delicate and refreshing drink full of lavender, Apple and some sparkle from a dash of champagne, again beautifully balanced. The latter was a big winter warmer with some spice from the ginger, sweetness from the honey and a mix of Pedro ximinez sherry and Auchentoshan 3 barrel whisky which gave a smoky warmth to it. In short, delicious. There were so many drinks on the menu, from tiki style rum creations to refined elegant gin martini type cocktails. For the less adventurous there's an extensive list of classics like mojitos, sours and punches to choose from. The vintage atmosphere combined with absolutely delicious signature cocktails has made this our new regular haunt for cocktails and date nights. A great experience, easily the best bar in karlsruhe with fantastic service thrown in. Prices are not cheap but very very reasonable for such high quality. Definitely highly recommended and we will definitely...

Favoriten: Old Cuban (der Beste!), diverse Old Fashioned Variationen, Another Night in Bangkok, Sage Scotsman, Martini Dry...
