Burgerheart Leipzig — Restaurant in Leipzig

An overall great experience, reservation was quick and easy, and there was a lot of space to sit. Unfortunately, the seats outside are not as comfortable and can get annoying to sit on after a while. The food is great, they have a great variety of burgers and fries, with different toppings which should fit everyone's preference. They also have a vegan and vegetarian menu, but I haven't I tried it yet. Service was quick. The menu is only available through a QR code or by requesting a tablet, which is an overall great idea, but it might be hard for people who aren't as comfortable on digital devices. The burgers and fries are pretty expensive and aren't that big in size, but I believe it's still worth it. What a disaster, such POOR service. It's like I was inconveniencing the staff by coming to eat here. But this is typical in Germany and especially in the East. (They have no idea about customer service or just service) I'll mention that my boyfriend is German and we were speaking German, not English! It took 15 min for her to take our drink order, than another 15 to get two drinks!!! Than her attitude twords us when we wanted to order was typically east German, of how dare I make her work. So the fries were very good, but if you go : have a lot of time. We waited 50 minutes to get two burger, with just three pieces of chicken. The slowness of the service is impressive. Maybe we're they understaffed, it happens, but at least the client should be informed upon arrival.

When they brought our order, they proposed us to drink something. We misunderstood this gesture to make up for the slowness, that the drinks were on the house. No, we paid for it. 40 euros in total for that.
