Considering that there is no good Sushi in Leipzig this place has the best fish. There is a little canal with wooden boats that carry small plates around the sushi counter which is cute. The chairs are way too close to each other so that you're bumping into your neighbor and sometimes have to listen to his or her conversation. Staff is trying to be friendly. It's not friendly to throw dirty dishes in a bowl and clean the counter with a smelly disinfectant at 10PM. We ordered a platter with different sushi, kindly asking if it would be possible to skip salmon. The menu encourages guests to make requests. 4 pieces were salmon. The rest was hit or miss. Some fish was pretty good. A real let down was the rice which wasn't fragrant and sticky but tasted cheap or old or both. We asked if they had a sake menu. The answer was yes. There is one tetra pack quality sake on the menu plus a small and sad wine selection. I think it is still worth travelling to Berlin for good Japanese. Here Zenkichi for fish and Cocolo for noodles are maybe two of the best places...

Went for valentines dinner with my girlfriend after seeing the sushi around the corner we originally wanted to go to was a bit too fancy for our liking. Very glad we came to this one! Much more down to earth for us and the sushi was some of the best I have had outside of Japan itself! Although they missed out our Duck it eventually came and was incredible. All the crunchy rolls are fantastic, full of flavour!
Only thing you have to put up with is some of the awful pop covers they play over the speaker :)

A truly splendid restaurant with the most amazing straff! We were served quickly and the food was amazing. Explaining that we were going to be bringing the food with us they did the absolute maximum possible to ensure that not only the food but also the ice cream we ordered stayed fresh until we got home. The restaurant was very pleasant and we wished we could have eaten in house. In addition the food was very fairly priced given the quality of the food! All in all I would recommend everyone...
