Kirigami — Restaurant in Leipzig

Come here for the ramen! They are super delicious, balaced in flavor, even when they are not authentic Japanese ramen! The dessert was tasty too and worth the price. The service is really friendly and helpful.

The salad with dark sauce (tom yum sauce) was not up to my taste. The takoyaki octopus balls taste pretty great, but there was hardly any octopus in there.

It was a bit hot inside the restaurant and there are no outdoor seatings. There is a construction site in front of the restaurant so it got a but noisy.

The place is in an odd position, but not that far from main train station. Absolutely recommended for ramen, fried chicken and takoyaki!

Very nice restaurant and busy. However, I found a hair in my tempura ramen which ruined my experience 👎👎 Away from the crowd, I told the waitress about the hair so that we wouldn’t make a scene and she was grateful. The dish was half eaten and she offered me a new dish but I had already lost my appetite 😔 She came back saying sorry and gave me a dessert only and I still had to pay for the food.

In my honest opinion, if she didn’t want to give me a free meal, she could’ve given me a better offer like a free beer that I had. Instead she only offered a free dessert which consisted of 3 small rice balls. Not well compensated. Oh well, I will reconsider...

Greeted at the entrance and absolutely friendly service 10/10, the atmosphere of the place was authentic as it can be even till the last detail such as the beautiful acquired Japanese lamps. The food wow even consistency, balanced flavour and soft meat. I tried the Tonkatsu with extra garlic (recommended by another review). The food came unbelievable fast, (my lucky day) .
