An Exceptional Indian Dining Experience in Münster

If you’re searching for truly authentic Indian cuisine in Münster, this restaurant is a must-visit. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a delightful evening.

The food here is nothing short of spectacular. We started with the masala dosa, which was absolutely perfect—the dosa was crisp and golden, with a spiced potato filling that was flavorful and comforting. It came with delicious chutneys and sambar that transported us straight to South India.

For the mains, the mango chicken was a standout. The sweet and tangy mango sauce paired beautifully with the tender chicken, offering a unique and satisfying flavor combination. The biryani, with its fragrant spices and perfectly cooked rice, was another highlight—it’s one of the best I’ve ever had.

To round off the meal, we couldn’t resist the masala tea, and it did not disappoint. The rich, spiced tea was the perfect way to end the meal, leaving us with warm, happy hearts.

The presentation of each dish was thoughtfully done, with vibrant colors and beautiful plating that made the experience feel extra special. It’s clear that a lot of love and attention goes into every detail.

The restaurant’s ambiance was equally charming—cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed family dinner or a catch-up with friends. The staff were wonderful too—attentive, friendly, and eager to make sure we had a fantastic experience.

If you’re craving authentic Indian flavors, I can’t recommend this place enough. From the masala dosa to the mango chicken, biryani, and the masala tea, every bite is a testament to the care and passion behind the food. I’m already looking forward to...

I recently had a very strong craving for Indian food but, as I live in Germany, this is not easy to satisfy. Most Indian food I have tried in this country has been so adapted to German tastes that it is barely recognizable as Indian cuisine. Having previously lived in Asia and also had at one time an Indian lodger in my house who was a great cook, my expectations are very high. However, I was recently visiting friends in Münster and we decided to try a fairly new establishment hoping to get reasonable Indian food and wow, were we surprised!

Restaurant Namaste serves authentic food from the Kerala area of southern India. The owner employs a chef from this region and has all the spices flown in from their native region and to our utter delight have had the courage not to adapt their cuisine to German tates but stay true to their origins. Instead of serving dishes swimming in oil heavy sauces, meat, fish and vegetables come in a light, fragrant, utterly delicious and just the right amount of sauce. I ordered the Namaste style lamb curry which was superb not only because of the wonderful flavour but also because the selection of seasonal vegetables in the dish were exceptionally fresh and not overcooked. My companions ordered chicken tikka masala and a prawn curry and were also greatly impressed and have the good fortune; living in Münster, to be able to return whenever they wish. We started our meal with a mixture of vegetable and onion pakoras with rice and garlic nan accompanying our main courses.

If you want to eat authentic, delicious southern Indian food, this is the place to do it - I cannot recommend this...

Title: A Homely Culinary Haven with a Touch of Elegance

I recently dined at Namaste Indisches restaurant conveniently located near Münster Bahnhof, and it left a lasting impression. The ambience exuded warmth, providing a homely feel that complemented the calm atmosphere.

The service was noteworthy, reflecting efficiency and attentiveness. Easy access from Münster Bahnhof made it a convenient choice for diners seeking a culinary retreat.

Moving on to the main event – the food.We ordered paneer butter masala, mango lassi, chicken biriyani and masala tea. With a rating of 4 out of 5, While the flavors were rich and satisfying, the cost was on the higher side, making it a bit of a splurge.

In terms of quantity, the portions were fair, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.

In summary, this Indian restaurant offers a delightful amalgamation of nice ambience, good service, a homely feel, and a calm...
