Restaurant Anggus — Restaurant in Mannheim

I ordered as a starter Turkish pizza “pide”, for main course I ordered Adana and patlikan. I went super blind pick. Never heard of any of it. So I picked Random by pictures.

I got salad for free as a starter and they also offered me soup. Surprise.

I also ordered still water.

Service was super slow and didn’t speak any English, so they couldn’t translate the menu, but he tried I guess. I appreciate it.

Salad was nice.

This special pizza was massive, big one. Tasty.

Food was flying outta kitchen.

But oh boy, this food was so delicious, I usually don’t pick at random and be so pleasantly surprised. So I was super happy. Flavours were there, delivered. Super big respect to the kitchen. Smoky and spicy. Salad and herbs were good. Rice really nicely seasoned.

Just one little issue I had was that it was super dry, even I covered it fully with lemon. Like Sahara desert. But besides that - it was really good.

My second dish was - I thought - vegetable (?) - aubergine - but actually wasn’t side dish but some other kebab with TONS of aubergine.

I guess it was a meme on me.

Water was nice but tiny.

Portions definitely ok for the price. I left super full. Satisfied. Happy.

I’m not used to this kind of food but i definitely wasn’t disappointed.

I finished up with cappuccino. It was super slow delivery, quadruple the time for food. It was fine.

The toilets were super dirty....
